There's gonna be a heck ton of crashes on whoever owns the pc
Or a guy making an ARG on "Sans the undying skeleton"
Cuz imagine you finally kill sans and you find him again but in Chara's spot in the end of the run and you gotta do that whole fight again
Just to be forced out of the game, but every time you encounter him, it's another 10 hour fight, and he comes back every time(after every 10 minutes or more) you 'kill' him.
Sans really just uses it to annoy the player, though I can imagine the Mental strain
It's probably over a hundred years since chara fell around 201X, and since Frisk is suggested to be the eighth and last human so it would take a lot of significant time
Though I'd stick to 12-13 ish(in my canon), Mentally, since she died young
Sans bullies her when he's run out of puns(or just tired)
Chara never grew up. She's ominous, curious and ever learning what she didn't when she was alive
Chara is a transferred soul, taking whatever essence and progress Frisk(the player) had with them into sans
Chara and sans are in a symbiotic relationship, think Eddie brok and Venom but with a ghost
Chara is now Sans' narrator
Sans tries to keep frisk(the player) inside the ruins, or atleast prevent them from commiting more harm. Though his will slowly wears down with each run, that Chara's offer to leave sounds slightly tempting
Sans is now aware that he's in a game, and is not taking it well mentally
Same build as canon Sans
SOUL-TETHER
Fragments of Clara's soul fused with Sans when he was a child, due to his wish to not die when asked by the king, who brought Sans to the same flowerbed his late-children rested
Chara didn't remember anything for the first year, so it took them a while to relearn things until Chara gained parts of her memory(tho it's still blurry snd somewhat fades in age)
Chara's ghost ages with Sans', tho she's arguably older than him(by 3 years since her death) but mentally the same
Chara is kind of Sans's coach, making sure he's health because thier souls are tied together so if he dies, she dies(for good).
Sans is taller here, but not taller than Papyrus or Gaster!Sans
Chara is only tangible to Sans, Napstablook and Mettaton as a human ghost in the beginning but everyone does eventually see her too once sans gets healthier(cue Asgore-Chara reunion)
Flowey remains somewhat the same(at the beginning) but tempered and Watched, Sans is more aware of the resets due to Chara
Flowey/Asriel-Chara reunion, bittersweet, They work on getting Asriel a full soul and body
Sans had nightmares of Chara disappearing during his adolescence
Frisk doesn't have Chara to help narrate or translate signs for them in the ruins until they meet Sans(and Chara)
Gaster did not fall into the core
Fluff
Chara has a developed moral and emotional maturity to Guide frisk away from genocide than be a neutral accomplice
Mainly good ending
They're in a healthy vanilla relationship chat
Genocide route(Player involved)
Chara fails to keep frisk peaceful, the player takes control
Frisk owns thier LV and experience, Chara does not have technical control over them
Chara is weaker, more equal to a boss monster than "demon" in canon genocide run
Sans lasts longer after one hit, and he has more stamina compared to canon to keep fighting
Chara can (temporarily)boost Sans's stats
Cue new attacks fused from Sans-Chara's aesthetic
Sans and Chara aims to tire the player to rage quit
I think it has potential, like sans convincing frisk of something but it was actually chara who had to power to transfer to a new 'host' leaving frisk(the player) helpless, causing the game to crash.
Leaving them both in the black void, the same one in the genocide run
Humantale design I've been envisioning since forever. Same age AU too 💙❤️
💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️
Sans strikes me very punk-looking (and lacking eyebrows, for some reason ^^), I'm also thinking having a think NY accent.
while the version of Chara in my head looks regal and refined, eloquent-speaking but with a brash/harsh way of speaking at times. I'm tempted to give a British accent a go, i don't know, maybe Old English? Shakespearean??
