i  say  THIS  —  after  six  MILLION  years  of  evolution ,  is  there  ANYTHING  else  more  in  TUNE  with  the  planet  than  the  HUMAN  BODY ?  we  grow  muscles  to  WITHSTAND  fourteen  pounds  of  air  PRESSURE  per  square  inch  at  SEA  LEVEL .  we  develop  SENSES  to  detect  CHANGES  in  wind  patterns  and  KNOW  when  a  storm  is  APPROACHING .  we  can  hear   T H R E A T E N I N G   footsteps  approaching  and  FEEL  the  stares  of  an  ANGRY  ex - girlfriend  as  her  eyes  BURN  a  hole  in  our  BACK .  We  have  millions  of  NERVE  endings  in  our  skin  to  FEEL  our  ENVIRONMENT .  in  short ,  we   E V O L V E  .  we  BECOME  more  in  tune  with  the  WORLD ,  like  birds  that  use  the  EARTH’S  magnetic  field  to  help  guide  them  on  their  LONG  migration  or  MAMMALS  that  can  FEEL  winter  coming  and  PREPARE  for  hibernation .  so ,  when  my  BODY  tells  me  there’s  a  SPIRIT  PRESENT ,  i   T R U S T   it  !     -   zak bagans   ©

idk how many mutuals know, but i suffer from selective mutism which basically means that i can’t verbally speak in stressful situations ??? so i haven’t had a real verbal conversation since like...first grade? maybe second grade? but today i actually managed to say some words to one of my professors without having a panic attack and idk i’m just v proud of myself it feels like i’m finally starting to get my anxiety and depression under control

     it’s her first week back on the field since her injury:     still counting her blessings,     knowing it was a miracle she survived,     much less still able to walk.     she isn’t used to cane being gone,     but she tries her hardest to get along with lassiter     [     it’s not in her nature to hate people,     especially when they’ve done nothing wrong     ]     ❛     y’know good things happen everyday,     even if we don’t know it.     ❜     a sweet smile at her new partner,     NERVOUS to an extent     —     even after the shootout,     cane’s death,     months in the hospital,     not knowing if her career was over or not,     she still held samcro tight.     they were FAMILY,     even if they were on opposite sides of the law,     even if they nearly killed her more times than she can count.     she had to protect them.     ❛     i wouldn’t count on an arrest,     anyways.     the boys are smart.     ❜
