The princess sisters of equestria REDESIGN
ok! So I finally got around to these! I’ve had celestia done for a while but Luna took a while as I struggled with her jewellery TwT
I really wanted celestia to look more like the princess of the sun like she’s supposed to be, she embodies its warmth and light, her mane glows with a bright intensity and she constancy feels like a summer day. I wanted her to feel like the regal and mysterious ruler of equestria like she’s described, I also wanted the alicorns to look unique, their own species with traces of the others. Taller bigger more regal and different features.
decided to give her darker spots to both resemble sun spots and have darker colours to match her sister who has a darker coat.
I’m really happy with how she’s turned out! I feel like she is truly the embodiment of the sun now!
As for Luna I had a lot of fun with her too! She’s my favourite princess out of all of them!
I wanted her to embody more elements of the night so I went with a more cyan blue like in her eyes to tie it all together, though I’m still debating if purple would have been better. She’s still shorter than her sister but I really like the differences I gave her, and I really feel like she truly is a mysterious princess of the night.
she has lighter markings to represent the stars and her connection to her sister, her jewellery was the biggest struggle because I wanted simple but still elegant. But I think I’ve hit the right balance!
there’s definitely a lot of lore I want to get to eventually and how this is different from cannon, but I really hope you guys enjoy the designs!
