Hello! Since episode 6 has your suspicion of Richy gone up, down, or stayed the same?
Up and up! And here’s why,
This episodes main suspect was Phil, who had some accusations thrown his way such as the Aurora matchbox found on the dead body, his insults towards Hannah and his number being on her call log. Plus, according to Richy, Phil had supposedly threatened him and put the raven on his garage door and had been closing the bar an hour earlier for some time now.
But with all these accusations, I can’t see how a single one of them can be used as proof enough to break into Phil’s business or even use it as evidence for the police. In other words they are most likely biased.
The matchbox wasn’t stated as Phil’s matchbox, it’s an item from the Auroras bar, therefore it’s possible that the victim had taken it for other reasons that had nothing to do with Phil. It would be like the police accusing a restaurant employee of stabbing somebody just because their companies food was found in the victims stomach. It’s a long stretch for such a serious accusation.
Furthermore, we don’t even know how Richy had acquired this information and only him. Thomas had gone to the police himself to see if the body was Hannah’s and he didn’t know any of this. So why did Richy?
Another piece of “evidence” Cleo and Richy present to us is his badmouthing of Hannah, which Phil tells us was a result of Cleo coming onto him so strongly. According to him, Cleo wasn’t asking questions in a neutral way instead she was accusing him of kidnapping and perhaps even hinting towards murder (by this point Richy most likely had already told Cleo what he knew about the matchbox so it’s possible Cleo was letting her emotions and opinions project onto Phil.) Phil in defense had insulted Hannah, when questioned from MC he seemed not even sure why he did it. Might have been the pressure and anger of being accused of something so publicly in front of a town who gossips about everything. But we can not be too sure.
Furthering into Cleos bias, according to Phil himself she never liked him. So who better to put the blame for taking your best friend?
We still don’t know why Hannah wanted to talk to Phil in person, but I doubt it was to cheat on Thomas. Afterall, Hannah had called told Thomas that she wanted to talk to him, and seemed happier when she said it. That doesn’t sound like someone who is ready to cheat on their boyfriend with someone else the very next day.
Richys continuous pushing on Phil being the one to put the Raven on his door is also concerning. He constantly states it as a fact despite he has no evidence except for Phil’s “threat”.

And I don’t know about you but nothing about it sounds remotely threatening to me, more like a guy who thinks he is better and more mature then a group of people who are accusing him of kidnapping. Anything else Richy claims Phil had said to him has no evidence, it is just Richys word.
For the reason as to why Phil is closing the bar early, he states it is because less customers are coming to Aurora, afraid of the murderer/ kidnapper taking them next. Which is a perfectly valid and rational decision to me 👌🏻 heck we are going through a pandemic and businesses everywhere are doing the same thing for generally the same reasons.
So in short, I believe Richy is just using Phil to ward off suspicion from himself.
He was hesitant to read the legend book, wanting to put it off with the excuse of Jessy still feeling unwell, despite Jessys protests.
He is always quick to distance himself from anything suspicious or serious, with the vote, and with this break in.
He was the one to start this accusation of Phil but acts like he is innocent of blame for anything.
For every other character who does something suspicious, it is cleared up later. We saw this with Jake, Phil, Thomas, Dan, and Jessy (Cleo hasn’t had any accusations yet I don’t think.) but not Richy. It’s sketchy for me and I feel weird when talking to him now.
The facts still are this: the kidnapper is apart of this group, because they knew about our involvement before the video.
The kidnapper knew Jessy was going to be around Duskwood with us, talking to us when she was attacked.
and they know enough about a legend to imitate it and enough about Duskwood to hide someone in the forest where they aren’t found right away.
Richy checks all of these boxes still. ✔️
