Howdy! I'm Audie (20s, she/her), and I'm a big fan of voice acting!
I made this space both to archive VA performances and to help people find voice claims.
Hey there! Welcome to the Character Voice Collection! This is a little space I've made to compile dialogue clips of various characters from various media, both because I'm a big fan of voice acting (and think it deserves far more credit) and because I think voice claims are so much fun and want to help people find some. I've seen some people on a few different sites do something similar, and I wanted in on the fun :3
You can use any of these MP3s without credit to me but please make sure to credit the original source and the voice actor!
This blog is queer friendly and AI hostile <3
This blog is pro-Palestine, I do not tolerate Zionism.
If I have added a VA or source that I shouldn't have, please let me know and I'll review it!
Requests are open! Please read this guide before sending in a request!
If you are a voice actor yourself and would like to promote your own work, read this!
More info about the blog under the cut!
I tag performances based on the gender presentation, accent, age, sound, and personality of the character rather than the voice itself. (So, for example, if a character is a child but has the voice of an adult, I will still tag them as a child.) I also add tags for the voice actor(s) and what media the character is from. You can find out more here!
Because I want to showcase as many performances as I can, I won't only be adding characters from things I'm a fan of, so I'll probably have quite a few sources that I'm not very familiar with. So apologies in advance if I accidentally include anything that's a spoiler! And while I'll probably end up adding some better-known performances that I've seen in many voice claims, I also want to showcase performances from more obscure sources!
I'll only be including sources that are in English, sorry if you were looking for something in a different language! And uh probably obvious but I'll only be including vocal performances. But anything is fair game, so animation, audiobooks, puppet shows, or even lets plays are all equally valid here.
We respect hobbyists and amateurs here! I love hearing people perform even if they're new to acting or don't have formal training!
I'm going to try to only include VAs who haven't said or done horrible things, anything that you would expect a cast member to be fired for will also exclude them from this collection.
Feel free to stop by my main account, @plushflurry! Mostly I spam animals and robots with funny names :3
"I spent my entire savings getting it fixed up and promised I would not let it get a single scratch. So, now I'm back on the road!"
"You fixed it! I can't believe it, you guys are the best! Thank you so much! Now, who's up for a ride?"
"That, my friend, was a plastic water bottle. If you'll take a look at the bottom, I'm sure you'll find the number one, indicating that it is polyethylene terephthalate and therefore recyclable, not to be thrown in the... trash. Your loss! I was just about to cover polystyrene!"
Can you do Cassie from Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach - Ruin?
Also, remember when I sent in The Yellow Rabbit from Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into The Pit? And we didn’t know the VA? According to the wiki, the voice actor for The Yellow Rabbit is Patrick Hickey Jr. (here’s my source. Bear in mind, it is from a wiki anyone can edit https://freddy-fazbears-pizza.fandom.com/wiki/Voice_Providers)
After looking at the credits for the game again, I think you're right! I thought Hickey Jr. was just one of multiple VAs who had an unspecific voice actor credit but since he is the only credited VA at all, I believe it's safe to assume he's the Yellow Rabbit. Thank you for the correction, I've updated the post!
For vaguer cases than this I have been considering adding some sort of tag in cases where a VA is speculated but not officially confirmed? Not sure yet.
Anyway, here's your request!:
Cassie from "Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach", played by Astrid Wong-Searby
Yep! I've actually done a TMNT character recently. Just let me know which character and which version of the show you'd like and I'll add them if I can! :]
"Oh, right. [Bored, rehearsed voice] Thank you for the gift, how kind of you to think of us. [Regular voice] I'm autistic and I guess not everyone can handle my unbridled truth."
"I'll run some tests to see how it reacts to different stimuli."
"I couldn't figure out how my canister worked. The polarity was all wrong."
"If you say ghosts can be good... Uh, well, I-I don't want my tech hurting good ghosts. I'm going to have to do more experiments."
"I never go to the principal's office. But a lot of my gadgets do get confiscated."
"I'm sending backup your way right now. Fiona, do you copy?"
"Don't mention it. Once Robyn learned about Amity Tower, she wouldn't shut up about it. Wherever she is, I'm sure she would want us doing what we can to get it up in the air and get the world talking again. Besides, Fiona's got your friends helping out in my stead."
"Okay, robo-girl. You're up. Which way?"
"Fiona said your friends haven't been heard from in a while. Unfortunately, the last thing they're worried about is a couple kids."
"Your uncle and Robyn can't save us. We have to choose. So choose."
Oh cool! In that case, do you think you can do some for Dr. Teeth (of The Electric Mayhem)? One for Jim Henson, one for Bill Barretta. (Take your time on these, there's a lot of material to sift through.)
Dr. Teeth from "The Muppet Show" (1976), played by Jim Henson
"The DMV? I love the DMV! Tedious structure and drab settings is my happy place."
"Being scared is really fun with the right people. Antony and I would scream at the TV together and throw popcorn and run to the bathroom and say 'Scary Mary' into the mirror!"
"Just a few minor upgrades that may or may not have happened just now."
"Although I miss my brother, he needs to be on his own. And I can do things on my own, too!"
"I want the power to reach my destiny! The power to rule Videoland! But, most important of all, the power to destroy the princess and that manly Captain N!"
"I'm sure we are! But that's no reason I shouldn't have the greatest source of power in Videoland. Go get me the first sacred treasure!"
“It only took me, like, what, ten seconds? Eleven, tops.”
“We’ve done a lot of things we’re not proud of. Robbin’ graves, eh, plunderin’ tombs, double parking… But nobody got hurt. Well, maybe somebody got hurt, but nobody we knew.”
“I could un-roadblock that if I had about two hundred of these. Problem is I only got about… ten. Plus, you know, five of my own, and a couple of cherry bombs, road flare…”
Remember this poll from a little while ago? Well I've been a bit curious about the winning option, I really didn't expect "No, but I would like to be" to get over half the votes!
So because I'm nosy, I wanted to ask if there was anything in particular stopping everyone who voted for that option from being a VA, even as a hobby. Some of you actually did tell me your reasons before, which I really appreciate! Anyone can feel free to explain their reasons in the replies or the tags if they're comfortable with it, but obv no pressure!
Even if you didn't vote in the previous poll, feel free to vote now if "I'm not a voice actor in any capacity but I would like to be" applies to you!
For those who would want to give voice acting a shot but haven't, is there anything holding you back from going for it?
No, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
No, I just haven't been cast in anything yet and I don't make my own projects.
Yes, I feel like I'm not skilled enough yet.
Yes, I'm afraid of putting myself out there.
Yes, I don't like my voice / don't feel like my voice is suitable for VAing
Yes, I don't have the time/equipment/space for it.
Yes, multiple of the above. (If you're comfortable with it, please explain)
Yes, but for a reason you didn't mention. (If you're comfortable with it, pleas
