sometimes someone I follow falls victim to severe Character delirium to the point where they stop even saying the character's name and just refer to them by an epithet like some kind of malevolent entity whom they don't wish to accidentally summon, so if the sickness sets in quickly enough and I don't pay close attention for a week I'm just Never going to figure Who this bastard haunting my friend Actually Is. and I'll spend months scrolling my dash occasionally seeing appeals to "that fucking horse" or "my evil grub."

I’m telling this story again b/c fuck it but anyways I was playing D&D and one of my friends went “brown bear brown bear what do you see” and on cue three of us turn to him and like, death metal screech “ALLLL”.

The dude goes completely pale faced. I saw true horror in his eyes. 

He didn’t know the joke.

So apparently dude just had three of his best friends demonically screech at him for no goddamn reason.

I do not think I will ever cause that level of sheer terror and confusion ever again in my life.

Thinking about Terra and Ven.... I think Terra's love for Ven directly plays into Terra growing as a person and outgrowing his rigid ideas about duty and what he values, because Ventus is not technically very physically strong but he's resilient and intelligent and stubborn and mentally flexible, all while being "weak" in terms of his powers in comparison to Terra and aqua. Terra has been raised to value loyalty to authority and place a lot of his self worth in being self sustaining and disciplined, yet Terra sees Ven as a trusted protector and someone worthy of respect a lot of the time Terra speaks about him as if Ven is really the one tasking care of him. Terra views Ven as a savior and a place of safety despite Ven being weak in the eyes of keyblade weilders, and his admiration of him and how much he values Ventus is directly responsible for his growth. Terra loves Ven so much it's literally embedded into his body, Xemnas still loving Ventus and watching Roxas sleep despite never actually meeting him.

I need the term "love of (their) life" to expand beyond romantic stuff bc Ven is definitely the love of Terra's life
