Frisk…hm. I’m caught on this one. I don’t know if they’d ever settle on a specific career. They strike me as a jack of all trades who ends up doing a lot of things throughout the years because there’s always something that needs to be done and someone who needs help with something or another. Oh, you’re trying to open a restaurant? I’ll work there for a year to help you out. That kind of caliber. They never stop being an RPG protag with a billion sidequests hehe.

I can also see them as a teacher. Specifically, middle school. They have the very specific temperament required to teach middle schoolers and not go insane.

Okay as for Chara. Hear me out here. Hear me out. Park ranger, specializing in botany, specifically in the Ebott region. They would be out in nature and wouldn’t have to deal with the public as much as with some other careers, would have an opportunity to use their brain, have a sense of purpose as a steward of the land, and wouldn’t get in trouble for demanding some asshole stay on the path.

Also, the visual of Chara having to give a tour to a bunch of kids on a school field trip is hilarious. Especially if talking about the history of the region. You just know “giant goat holding a dead kid” would be inextricably part of the local lore.

^ trying to figure out how to draw chara + based off chara's relationship to their new body and being reborn in general, i hc that they had some episodes of disgust and hated it at first..

^ on a similair note, chara also being ridden with guilt after coming back to life.. based on one of the asks
