He Fell during the nephilim wars, when he decided he couldn't put down his children and that because of a divine mandate, and that unlike with Isaac and Abraham, no one would be coming to him to stop his blade at the last moment. He chose to abandon his Grace and his commitment to Eli/HaShem and Heaven.

He hasn't gone full Demon yet, still holding onto some things against the Hell Noise and Stan's influence, and doesn't have much in the way of general malice. Likes humans still, though it's been warped some since he can't really bring himself to Love much any more.

Has a pact/Deal with Miles (@wrathfulpup) and also has him as his consort/pet. Their relationship is, how do you say? Fucked up. But there is a kernel of Love there, not that they can make that known.

Has a few nephilim kids still out there, mostly ending up as those doing-a-little-charity-for-clout influencer types due to a lack of properly positive role models.

That wasn't how Lust demons settled things, though, and the Fallen would pull Valentino over by his fluff, meta-form stretching enough to easily crush their mouths together, letting that defined portion of his power be linked and flow into the moth. Just for a few moments, he'd let the kiss linger, then Tzedakah would pull away, licking pink venom from his lips. ]

My siblings and I, we were of the First Brood. Created and brought up to be warriors, the highest stewards of the universe that had been created, made to Love and Worship and spread that light around as we helped to build more and more into this realm.

And then humans were created, and we had new orders, and some didn't like that we were told to Love you instead. I didn't mind that so much, though I think my more contentious siblings made some good points here and there, but I did take to humans and your... creativity and passions. Ended up getting me in a lot of trouble, all my nephilim children, and I just couldn't do it any more when we were told to destroy them all.

All that Free Will gives a lot of power, and most of you don't even realise it, and the few nephilim that did capitalise on that ended up ruining it for the rest of them, poor lambs. And I used what scrap of it I could seize to end up down here.

But then you humans do die, and you end up where you end up, and it's like nutrients being returned to the environment. Though some of you do manage to cling onto yourselves enough to grow wherever you are. But those natures you died with, they're so hard to change, aren't they? Pushed and warped by the energies around you... not to mention all the pressures that come from those stuck in the system with you. So many crabs in the bucket barely trying to get out, only dragging one another further down.

Now, all that to say-- wouldn't you rather be one of the, and forgive the stretched metaphor here, otters reaching into that bucket and feasting on what's in there?

Tzedakah figured he could only rely on Lucifer's goodwill for so long before he'd have to figure things out. And he couldn't just usurp this world's Asmodeus. That Prince had his claws in deep in his throne, and Tzedakah couldn't even particularly dislike him enough to make the attempt. ]

[He wasn't ever so bad in life. Sure, sometimes it took a little physicality to get people in line. That's gang life. Exchanging intimidation and violence for fear and respect--and obedience. But he really got distilled and concentrated into the worst of it all down in Hell.

His worst self. Killed off his heart and made off with his soul. Replaced it with the worst things the sex industry could be and made him embody it all.

Valentino's attention span for things was questionable. And he was still far too tense and angry to absorb a lot of information that wasn't him getting bossed around into a chair and talked to like he was an annoying speck on someone's soup. He didn't fucking like that.

[ It would be very difficult for someone not on his power level to actually choke him to death. He just didn't really need air if he didn't wish to. Wasn't like he was in a Host. It was uncomfortable, sure, unpleasant, but there were far better ways to harm him.

He was a Prince, a former Archangel, and even though demonic energy could still harm him, Valentino just wasn't there.
