The ACHE Programs, Products, and Services Committee
An experienced surgeon, Dr. Charles Canver presently serves as vice president and chief medical officer of Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. In addition to earning his MD from Erciyes University in Kayseri, Turkey, and his healthcare MBA from George Washington University in Washington, DC, he has completed advanced professional training as a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Dr. Charles Canver continues to serve the ACHE as a member of the organization’s Programs, Products, and Services Committee. In order to advance the ACHE’s mission to serve healthcare executives and the healthcare management industry, the Programs, Products, and Services Committee offers executive direction for initiatives in a variety of fields, including continuing education and official credentialing. The committee provides management oversight for the programs of the Healthcare Executive Career Resource Center, a source of professional tools and personalized career-planning assistance for all ACHE members. It also makes informed decisions affecting the ACHE’s publishing division. Operating under the name Health Administration Press, this publishing division is responsible for releasing the Journal of Healthcare Management and a range of books and periodicals.
