long time no post omg… i’ve been playing wizard 101 again on switch which has been so much fun :) been playing mostly on an ice and myth character, i got the switch 2 earlier this year and the game honestly runs so smoothly. i’m hoping to get to the worlds i never played on pc (wallaru and darkmoor) soon!!

sooooo i finished karamelle on my balance ( my second time finishing the world) and after 2 playthroughs, i’m honestly not that impressed. the story is really the saving grace of the world because its so unique and different from the other worlds, but it can be confusing sometimes. 

i think i had bigger expectations for the world, especially since it took a really long time for it to come out. it is really cool looking and has some interesting npcs/mobs, but overall it feels like a lot of the same things repeated. the only place that i thought was truly unique was the rock candy mountains and the von trap estate, but we barely spent time there. 

i’m glad that i was able to play and i think its a cool world, it just didn’t live up to my expectations i guess. i think its worth playing through though!

karamelle in a nutshell

so i finished karamelle on my ice and it only took me like 2 days.... overall it was a really interesting world, but it seems shorter than other more recent worlds (like empyrea and mirage). i’m still kinda confused about “the old one” and the ominous “i see nothing” from bartelby at the end of the quest line.

i’m gonna try and beat it again on my balance now!!

i’ve been playing through karamelle on my ice and its really easy so far, there’s only been one battle that’s been hard and that was in the mines against the golden gummy rabbit. but its a really beautiful world image wise and the story is pretty interesting, and the concept is actually one of my favorites for a new world in a while! overall, i’m enjoying it!

i also think the way they’re doing the new spells with the spellements to change them is really cool, it’s making me motivated to quest because i wanna upgrade the shatter horn spell. its different but smart, and i appreciate the subtle change that kingsisle made with the rollout of this world and the new spells.

again, i’m enjoying it so far and i’m glad i got my membership back so i could play!
