today i walked into my job and there was a sign on the counter which basically boils down to “please i beg of you all to shut up stop fighting and just be friends and help each other out more please.” and let’s just say there is a reason i will be shifting tonight

dropping more lore between my s/o from the 'was it casual' post and i because i'm bored:

six months after we got together, he drunkenly proposed to me in hopes it would fix our relationship. i said no and moved to america.

he was the first (and only) person i called when i gave birth to my son alone. he showed up without me asking and stayed for a week to help me. all in the middle of filming a movie.

when his dad died, i flew overnight from another country to be at his funeral. i sat and held him as he grieved, made dinner, and tucked him in when exhaustion finally set in.

rumors circled throughout my entire marriage to my ex that him and i were having an affair. (we weren't, just for the record)

he has showed up to every father/dad event at my son's school and never said a word to correct anyone who called him his dad.

we got married eight weeks after getting back together, twenty years after our relationship had first started.

he was the only one who gave me the right flowers at my mother's funeral. he remembered her favorite flowers were daises. they had only met once.

i named my son after our favorite song without telling him. he had to find out from a mutual friend. we never spoke a word about it.

we have never once talked about each other in interviews beyond a professional standpoint...except for the interview i gave after our wedding which was basically three hours of me talking about how bonkers we are about each other.
