About my fan story: The Dalton brothers lost their father in their childhood and did not had an easy life. Joe Dalton probably saw his father as a great role model and wanted to follow in his footsteps. Over the years, Joe Dalton became the way we know him in the comics. Of course, the bandit was always very temperamental, but since his first encounter with Lucky Luke, Joe became blind with hatred and anger... The fan story of my wolf, Shade, who met the Daltons, is already many years old. At the time, Shade did not know much about their lives and childhood and was initially mistreated and exploited by the bandits. At some point, Shade managed to look into Joe's soul and realized why Joe is the way he is. After the wolf saved the Daltons' lives, the bandits' behavior towards the wolf changed in small steps. Trust grew and even Joe realized that the wolf was useful. Eventually, Shade grew close to the Daltons' hearts, even to Joe started to like the wolf.

Fariboles Productions announced their upcoming new Lucky Luke statue to celebrate the lonesome cowboy 80th anniversary. It's based on the iconic showdown agains the Daltons in "Daisy Town."
