I made this for last months CDchallenge but it fell off my radar because I caught a cold at the end of June. I thought I would get better in a couple days so waited to post this to the challenge till it was too late I guess because it never got accepted. Oh well. Started working on the next months challenge so figured I’d post it.
I did this a while ago but I guess it didn’t post right. It was a reference picture from a group on Facebook that you’re supposed to do your own interpretation of.
Decided to do an oil painting for my Mother’s Day of our new dog. Haven’t gotten a chance to do a traditional painting in about 6 months because of moving. This was a good warm up painting. The hardest part of this was getting across that Charlie is a brindle dog. I may work on this more at some point but right now I need a break.
First painting I did in Procreate. Just figuring out how to use the program so I used a reference photo.

Not dead just been painting my new house. Had a little hold up because of course my mother didn’t like the original colours we picked. She changed all the light bulbs after we picked the colours. This is the rec-room in the basement and I ran out of paint. Plan on finishing painting this tomorrow and the stairway.
I actually made this for the Dragonball Z Character Design Challenge back in December. With moving across the country I never got to finish it. I came across it recently and decided to complete it. I did Bulma.

Also forgot to post my finished character design challenge on here for the Burlesque Dancer. Could have been better but I was pressed for time.
In my new house, there were bright green walls in my parent's room and the main living area was yellow. Taking a long time to paint over everything because I have to prime the walls and tape around all the windows and door frames because of the wood trim. Also, have to use three different sized ladders. Damn those 12-foot ceiling peaks.
Long time no post on here. I actually moved across the country with my parents to Mermaid, Prince Edward Island. It is a 15-minute drive from Charlotte Town.
I got caught up in all the stress of moving so I haven’t been doing much art lately or keeping up with my social media accounts. Been here for a month but all I have been doing is unpacking and painting the walls.
Hopefully, I will be back to doing some art soon.
They let us see Quinn before she went into exploratory surgery.
Had to bring my dog to the emergency vet yesterday because of repeated vomiting. Came in today to see how she was and it seems to have gotten worse. They hooked her up to an I. V. I’m worried because the vet offered me a cot to sleep on.
Did a rough sketch to start this months character design challenge because I haven’t gotten the chance to draw for a month.
I haven’t been on here the past two months because I am moving. I was spending ever second of my time getting the house ready to sell. Now we have sold the house I have some time to draw before it gets crazy again for the actual move.
On my way to PEI. Half way there.
I got back from my trip to Georgia last Sunday and came straight back to work. I have next week off so I can do art, yeah.
A rainbow formed when I was painting the bathroom. Hopefully that's a good sign. #rainbow #painting
