“I HAD NO IDEA THAT’S WHAT IT FELT LIKE”
The Demo for the song from the Answer, “Something Entirely New”
Hidden in this song are chords from several fusion songs (Giant Woman, Strong in the Real Way and Stronger Than You) all of which won’t occur until thousands of years after this of course…
Thanks for watching!
now that this super adorable and love filled episode of SU aired, we can be positive the rest of steven bomb is straight up pain and suffering

Steven Universe - The Answer (full episode)
Here’s today’s new SU episode in HD!
Download link’s in the video’s description.
I’ll be posting new SU episodes this week. Enjoy!
by the way! I shut down my old deviantArt account and made a new one; if dA isn’t your thing, I also make an art twitter in conjunction so I can post WIPs and doodles in a more casual environment as well~
I don’t think I’m gonna make an art only tumblr, but I will throw it out there as a heads up now that I’m thinking about making a new blog in general to move to. I’ve had this one since 2010 and there’s a couple benefits that moving to a new account could bring. I’ll make an announcement if/when that happens though!
Lapis Lazuli: "Did you even wonder who I used to be?!"
Me: Yes. Constantly. It haUNTS me and I need answers
someone posted about how these 2 lines are literally a summary of the show and i jUST

SHHHH IT’S OKAY THIS ONE HAS HORNS AND WINGS AND IS SOMETIMES A BAT
Well, I finally figured out the “reason” why my video got taken down; never mind that I only found this because I happened to have a hyperlink to the original upload that I posted to another site. [context if you haven’t been following: I uploaded a 40-min video of a stream I did playing Nancy Drew, which got reported and taken down within 90 minutes, also giving my new YT account a strike against it.]
Here’s YouTube’s page describing what the above means. Let’s go through this:
Video & comment spam - This was literally only one upload with zero comments. I didn’t even post a link to my Twitch channel in the video description, so I wasn’t trying to divert the audience from YT to Twitch.
Artificial traffic spam - I would not know even remotely how to do this. Once again, my video had zero comments and, as far as I’m aware, very few views.
Misleading metadata & misleading/racy thumbnails - Not that I can check it for sure now, but I’m pretty sure the only tags I had were “nancy drew” & “ransom of the seven ships”. My thumbnail was a horizontal version of the box art (much how most LPers will use the logos or covers of games as their thumbnail) with “char plays...” in the left corner. I think that was more than reasonable.
Scams - there was absolutely no way I could have earned money from my video, nor was any mention of such a thing mentioned.
Blackmail or extortion - This was a rated E video game with no mention of anything, ANYTHING exploitative.
So...this just makes it even MORE confusing! I was just going to accept that I had been singled out for copyright infringement, but it definitely isn’t the case. They claim my video is some sort of spam, and they CONFIRMED and UPHELD this after I appealed their strike. There’s absolutely no reason for this, and I want to find out if there’s another avenue I can go to contact YouTube about what I believe to be an unfair ruling.
I still can’t believe how good Gerard Way’s Hesitant Alien is
related, I still can’t believe just how wonderfully WEIRD this man’s fucking Twitter is
…except you DON’T have my understanding, YouTube. How am I expected to navigate your site within your parameters if you WON’T TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG. Twice now, all they’ve said is a vague “you’re violating Community Guidelines”. That is nothing for me to go off of. I still don’t think I did anything wrong.
Does anyone know of any other video sites that would be decent to upload 30-90 min videos with custom thumbnails? Cause obviously YT is just going to keep banning me for some dumbass reason; all these other channels get to post their game streams or Let’s Play videos JUST FINE, but when I come around with one fucking innocuous video of a Nancy Drew game of all things…
I’m really steamed about this, I’m sorry. This game streaming stuff was helping with my anxiety and allowing me to interact with people, which is great. And I can still stream on Twitch just fine, but those videos delete after like two weeks. I wanted somewhere to post recordings of the streams so A) if someone got into a game I was already halfway through they could catch up if they wanted, and B) so I wouldn’t have to keep these long video files on my computer in order to archive them.
Fucking sigh.
I’m gonna tag a few people that I think might have some tiny insight? (I’m sorry if that’s a bother to any of you, feel free to ignore - you’re not obligated to answer and I’m not entitled to your time!)
@kakaphoe @emsarcade @nonbinaryrobot
I don’t know enough about the context for this situation to know what’s going on exactly but yt can be terrible about copyright claims even when the party making the claim doesn’t own the allegedly infringing content
There are bogus copyright claim companies on yt that purposely flag videos on small channels as their “property” (usually for audio like in game music) so they can steal monetisation from the video in question because they assume small yt channels don’t know or are too scared to dispute (that’s despite the fact that let’s play videos are normally covered under fair use for the purposes of entertainment etc.).
I had a call of cthulhu let’s play video get flagged twice for the same piece of in game music and both claims were fraudulent. It’s a horrible system rife with abuse.
As for alternatives for the OP, the only thing I can suggest is daily motion because they give much less fucks about copyright claims.
I recently had a copyright claim for music in my Ninja Pizza Girl videos.
I’m personal friends with the people that hold the rights to the game and the music in those videos. The claimant allowed the videos to remain, but wanted ad revenue or something. So I took the videos down myself.
YouTube is terrible about this.
If the people who have the rights to the music were okay with it then it was probably a fraudulent claim. Unless it was a big name company like Sony Entertainment or something.
That’s just it - this wasn’t even a copyright strike, it was a “community guidelines” strike, and Char can’t get any clarification out of them, and the video in question was a Nancy Drew game Let’s Play video, for which there are plentiful other videos on YouTube with nearly identical content. That’s the main frustration and confusion. Char hasn’t been able to figure out WHAT in the video qualified it for removal in the first place, and YouTube won’t give an answer, either.
It was really bizarre. My video published at 5:20am, and the email from YouTube saying it was reported and taken down was at 7:02am. I literally have no other videos up on that channel, I was JUST setting it up.
There aren't any big names involved here; Nancy Drew is made by HER Interactive, and there are plenty of other videos of the same games. The music was just the ambient tropical music that HER provided, so I didn't even play any well-known songs that would have been picked out or anything. The weirdest thing for me is that I have another YouTube channel with notably copyright infringing material (a clip from a cartoon & an official instrumental recording of a song)...never had a single problem there. Yet I get flagged at an alarmingly quick speed for posting a Let's Play that should be just the same as any other LP.
Thanks for the DailyMotion suggestion, I had it in mind once I started thinking about moving my business elsewhere.
