thinking about lightbulb's relationship with starfruit and how it's gonna develop after episode 5. There's always a chance they resolve this issue relatively quickly but I think it'd be fun to draw it out. Lightbulb is no stranger to animosity from her team but having someone who to her Face acts like a friend who (she precieves to) go behind her back and betray her, would be a new and different situation we've never seen her in.

Since lightbulb isn't the type to get angry, I think she's going to either avoid starfruit or worse internalize it and believe that it's her fault in a way that She could be the reason starfruit voted her out and believe she isn't good enough. When she had gotten eliminated she had mentioned her campaign of team captain not being strong enough and I think that's a Thing she struggles with.

She says she hadn't been driving her self worth from winning for her friends anymore (that dialogue still makes me cringe ugh) but her actions don't necessarily reflect that. She still wants to be seen as a beacon of guidance to her team, none of which she's familiar with other than paper, whos she's never been particularly close with, and starfruit, who she's CODED to know. She wants to be liked she wants to be seen as useful!!! She wants to make an impact on the people in her team!! she wants to have worth!!!

Having someone who she assumes is someone that values her and sees her worth actually be (once again she perceives him to be) the one who voted her out would be a sucker punch in the gut. She was left in shambles after paintbrush, who had consistently shown frustration with her, gently proposed not working together. Imagine someone who she had no reason to assume was upset with her actively tried to get her out of the game. (Once again he didn't but she doesn't know that). Oh lightbulb my lightbulb

I don't have much to say about starfruit I'm not a starfruit stan. Sorry. I'm waiting for the next episode to see more of his character

I think the reason the OSC has been so negative is because everyone lacks an attention span and they can’t enjoy anything. Character.AI has done irreparable damage to the community and it continues to show itself everyday, especially on TikTok.

Think about how people say that Paper is nothing more than payjay this season, even though he hasn’t gotten a lot of screen-time next to OJ or has repeatedly stopped conversations to talk about him or his relationship when it wasn’t necessary. This not only highlights how people just don’t know how to pay attention but the communities issues with watering down characters to their ship. This season is building on Paper character and people miss that when it’s being literally being shown to them.

Short-formed content is also a large problem because everyone needs every object show to follow a specific set of rules that they made up. And now that people take an opinion they see on a TikTok rant and run with it, there’s no room for flexibility and creativity.

no that. actually kind of kills me is how the challenge that lightbulb was so enthusiastic about and fixated on Getting Right is the one that goes horribly wrong. her friend is severely injured and unconscious and she wanted to create something for him but of courseee thats when chaos and conflict ensue and they get yelled at, oj literally saying "is this what you think fan would want?". over and over again her feeling of not being able to do anything right is reinforced and knocked into her mind. and thats the episode she gets eliminated.

what if Lightbulb ate a greenberry cuz she misses the way things used to be and wishes she was yellow like she was during the simpler more joyous times but green is a combination of blue and yellow so even with the greenberry she's not TRULY back it's just her desparate attempt to get close to how she was even if it's not enough. And she can't let go off the past and Starfruit has lost everyone from his band and is clinging onto Lightbulb harder than ever so he took a greenberry with her, to feel a sense of kinship and bond with someone. And they want to make a greenberry for Fan because they know Fan does not know who he is and doesn't have a strong sense of self and the greenberry would help him cope by having a different exterior which would bring him a sense of existence and would symbolize change going from red to green after being in a near death experience, and would parallel The shimmer baby egg and Bot who are also green and symbolize change and growth and transition, and would make fan face his biggest fear, that being change itself. But he needs it to face himself
