RS NAME COPYCAT SCAMMING ATTEMPT

I’m not sure if many are aware that this is occurring; however, there is a solo player or group going around CC’s and copying name’s with i’s and l’s. Switching the l’s to i’s and vice versa, then pming clan members for loans as said person. This just happened to someone in my clan and a few others on the Clan Leader Forums. So everyone just keep an eye out when getting clannie pms for loans and spread awareness!!

Also, in this case the scammer used another account “QueenMage” to scout potential victims and confirm the person they’re impersonating wasn’t online.

Hey so this happened again last night with a new clanmate of mine last night, and she lost 50m to this fake account that contacted her with the name “At Wiil” while my name is “At Will”. https://apps.runescape.com/runemetrics/app/overview/player/txizz was the account that was traded to. Few other friends of mine have had clannies fall victim to this as well.
