Handy dandy helpful little site that I know a lot of people are not aware exists in the United States

If you have a problem with a doctor and you suspect that they are acting in a way that they should not or treating you in a way that they should not, document everything look up their NPI number and report them.
Anyone got $300 today so I can turn my power back on? I'll send you the super cool blanket below.
Technically i need $250 to switch power from me to my sister but I say $300 bc then I can ship it to you right away.
for context, they shut off my power which was on my sisters name the same day they processed my biweekly $250 payment. I've been paying down and they did it anyway, now they won't turn it back on unless I pay a roughly $300 down payment and $200 for the first installment of a payment plan. which I don't get because that payment plan would be less than I've been paying bi-weekly at the end of the month, but also I have no savings and like I said. they JUST processed a payment.
@charmedbitches asked: “ Are you all right? ”
"mm." Harper said. He didn't move much, kept his eyes narrow focused on the circuitry board in front of him, his soddering iron making tiny movements. His voice was small, glancing over at his friend. Davis didn't move, not an inch, from his seat, his face blank and dark. Harper's mouth twitch, and he was quiet as he spoke, "Davis has a bug."
“Well, I guess he can get sick like a person then. But he's got a wonderful and talented robo doctor to make him better.” Lisa told him with a smile, though he couldn't exactly see if with how focused her was on what he was doing with Davis' circuit board.
“But why try to be a 'better Iron Man' when you can be the best you, that's the point. Trying to be better than someone else just means you'll always live in their shadow, letting someone else's success or failure dictate your actions means you'll never think what you do is good enough.” Lisa worried about Harper a lot, partly because he was so young, partly because of him being one of the first charges she'd gotten on her own. Mostly because of his mother.
Harper chuckled and looked over his shoulder at her with a playful smile. "Every one of Earth's heroes is in someone's shadow. Usually it's just Captain America."
He shrugged a bit more before looking back to Davis. "That doesn't seem like a big bad thing, I'll just have to do a lot of saving then to make up for it."
“Living in someone's shadow and trying to live up to their legacy aren't the same thing.” Lisa told him, an eyebrow quirking as she said it. “One is other people comparing you and the things you do, one is you doing it. You should save people because you want to, because you think it's right. Not because it's expected of you or you feel like you have to live up to someone else.”
“17th century was the 1600's, but seeing as she's busy 'finding someone who needs their day ruined'? I can't say her opinion holds too much weight for me personally.” Selina raised a brow as she said that, trying to make it clear she was wondering what he had meant by that. “Can't say she's wrong though, Melinda Warren was burned at the stake.”
“Welp, like I said. Didn't name the book, it's over 400 years old. My network though mostly consists of mortals and magical being my family has helped over the years, most magic beings are willing to help the Halliwell family though. If not because The Charmed One's then because of the fact my cousin Wyatt is the reincarnation of King Arthur, pulled the sword and everything.”
"Oh, like that's such a big deal," He grumbled that petulantly. "Her opinion holds some weight for me. If she doesn't like you, you're not going to get very far."
He said that simply, and leaned back in his seat. His arms crossed over his diaphragm, and raised his brow. "So your book is barely older than my mentor. Your network is your family. You're obeying some Elders that I don't want to get into. But don't worry, because you're charmed and related to King Arthur?"
“I'd say ruining people's day intentionally is a big enough deal to the person who's day she's ruining.” Selina told him with a shrug, though she had no plans of pushing her opinion about that right now. As long as this 'Auntie Anges' didn't actually hurt anyone.
“I don't so much obey the elders as I do tolerate them for my Mom's sake, they've given a lot of resources to help her with her network helping magical kids. The Halliwells aren't exactly their favorite people though, witchlighters were pretty frowned upon even when mom was born and my Mom and Aunt Piper have a whole family of them. And I'm not the one who's charmed, my Mom and Aunts are.”
@charmedbitches asked: “You're allowed to lean on me. That's what I'm here for.” -Selina?
"Maybe it shouldn't be. You didn't ask for any of this, either."
“I quite literally did, maybe not for you specifically. But this is what I do, I help people.”
“Maybe, but I have a network. A pretty extensive one at that, if I ever don't have answers? I can get them.” Or rather her family had a network, the Halliwells had made just as many allies over the years as they had enemies - if not more seeing as a good chunk of their enemies were dead. She seemed to be piping his interest though, even if she knew trust would take time. She wondered what this supposed mentor had done that he trusted her as much as he seemed to.
“We call it the Book Of Shadows, it was started by my ancestor Melinda Warren in the 17th century. It's spelled, never runs out of pages and protects itself from those who would use it for evil.”
"Mm. I don't think Auntie Agnes really enjoyed the seventeen hundreds very much," He said, maybe being a bit too sassy — but hey, she had him on a very slight edge. Wanting her to know someone would notice him going missing felt like it was a good thing.
"Book of Shadows, wow. A very witchy name," Billy mused teasingly. "I guess Gail's Grimoire of Demons was already taken. Do you have a grandmother named Gail? It seems fitting. What's the network? Your coven and Coop?"

If not because The Charmed One's then because of the fact my cousin Wyatt is the reincarnation of King Arthur, pulled the sword and everything.”
“She could, possibly. But why does that have to affect you? No matter what she wants, you are your own person. What you want and what you feel should have more of an impact on your life than what she wants. You have the potential to do great things Harper, why do them in the shadow of someone else's name?”
"I'm her son. And his," He shrugged. He leaned forward a bit, watching closer as he pinched together some of Davis's wires. "That's how you make a better Iron Man, isn't it? The best parts of two people."
“I mean if you want to shout feel free, you can say it at a normal volume though. You could even whisper it if you wanted. It's more the intent than the volume that matters, think of it like getting their attention at the table to ask them to pass the salt. Except the salt is teleporting in and giving answers or blowing something up, depending on the situation.” She gave a slight shrug, no matter if he called for her or not though she would sense it if he ended up in danger and needed help.
“Personally? 29, my Uncle Leo is over a hundred though, and Uncle Coop is...either close to or over a thousand. I usually go to them if I come across problems the family spell book doesn't have answers for.” She was talking about it casually, partly because these things were normal for her and partly to peak the boys interest. Being his whitelighter would be a lot easier if he wasn't entirely opposed to her showing up, even if it might end up being because he thought she could be useful.
"Then I think my current tutor has a bit more experience," Billy said flatly. Even Alice had more experience than this lady, so it was just another point to listen to Agatha. Hyper-vigilence — the best deterrent from keeping him from repeating old mistakes. He couldn't just listen to anyone about anything. Even Agatha had tricked him, and he had walked right into it, last time. She also walked right into his hell-hole, so, you know.
They were even, at least.
This Uncle Coop though, he sounded old. Like, Rio, old. Or, he supposed, no one was really Rio old, except perhaps her sisters, whom he didn't want to meet. "A family spell book?"
“Maybe, but I have a network. A pretty extensive one at that, if I ever don't have answers? I can get them.” Or rather her family had a network, the Halliwells had made just as many allies over the years as they had enemies - if not more seeing as a good chunk of their enemies were dead. "You know, my mom's got plans. Even if Mr. Stark is gone, she can still win over his legacy."
“She could, possibly. But why does that have to affect you? No matter what she wants, you are your own person. What you want and what you feel should have more of an impact on your life than what she wants. You have the potential to do great things Harper, why do them in the shadow of someone else's name?”
"My name, Billy, not with a phone just into the air. If you call for me with the intent for me to hear it I will, and if you're in danger I'll sense it.” Selina might not have empathy like her cousins, but even she could read his reaction to her assumed reasoning with the look on his face.
“Its more than just him, I have 4 adoptive siblings, a biological brother and a twin sister. All 4 of my adoptive siblings came to us because of magical circumstances, 1 is a mortal my Dad met through work. He's a parole officer for primarily former juvie kids, sometimes young adults.” Byron hadn't quite gotten to that point, but he'd been part of a youth redirection program and got caught up when someone targeted her father which it eventually led to them taking him in.
The comment about whoever he had to help him currently looking for someone who 'needed their day ruined' was concerning, but not exactly surprising. People on all sides were known to try and influence young witches. “Even still, I might have resources they don't if you even need help.”
"That's not calling, that's shouting. You want me to just shout your name, a person I've met a grand total of once, and expect you to... what?"
Be his guardian angel, his savior? It seemed like a fat chance. He'd never had one before, not when he needed it. If Lilia's sigil had given him anything, it was the knowledge that he could stand on his own two feet when he needed to.
"She's three hundred years old. So she's pretty experienced in my book," Billy pointed out. "How old are you?"

"I meant more literally; if you call for me with the intent for me to hear it, I will." It probably sounded absurd to someone who was just learning about whitelighters, but since he wasn't entirely in the dark about magic, she figured it wasn't unbelievable.
"As for why they probably think I'm a better fit, it's probably because of my background. Like I said, I run a child advocacy group in California. It probably also has something to do with my experience with kids who learn about their magic later on, my parents took in my older brother when me and my sister were 8."
"His powers had unlocked and his parents kicked him out. I'm not saying that will happen, but...they tend to try and redirect younger charges with mortal parents towards me just in case they end up needing support explaining things to their parents if or when they find out about their powers. I guess the idea is that it's better to have someone who can handle the worst case scenario just in case." She paused for a moment before explaining.
"Over the years my Mom worked out a whole network for young witches. Magical family's willing to take in younger ones who might end up needing somewhere to go, resources for older witches who weren't ready to be on their own after something happened. Things to help." Life as a witch was dangerous, even if witches being born to mortals was rare? Witches dying young wasn't, and her mother couldn't exactly take in every young witch who needed a place to go.
"Okay, and? I still don't have your number to call you," Billy rolled his eyes. This whole thing was ridiculous and getting more so by the moment. He was sixteen, too old for any of those stupid child advocacy whatevers. Too old for the children's programming and to believe it would all be solved and set back to normal within half an hour, including commercial breaks.
"I've had magic for as long as I can remember," He said, leaving the small fact that it probably wasn't as long as she would assume private. "So that's out too. Meaning the only reason I might work better with you than with someone else is that you... have a brother who's from somewhere without magical family?"
He sighed. "I have someone who can give me things to help. She's just busy finding someone who needs their day ruined."
"My name, Billy, not with a phone just into the air. If you call for me with the intent for me to hear it I will, and if you're in danger I'll sense it.” Selina might not have empathy like her cousins, but even she could read his reaction to her assumed reasoning with the look on his face.

"It was this tiny piece like a scrabble letter chip, it had the sigil written on it, and I was obsessed with it, so it was easy enough to break once I figured out what it was. There were bigger issues at play than 'how to break a tiny piece of wood.'"
He squinted his eyes at her, trying to keep track of all this... oddness. It wasn't like the magic he had learned, however small that lot was. "And your background is so much better than this cousin?"
He scoffed and lowered his hands from the table, briefly rubbing them against his white out painted jeans, finger tips running over the stars he'd adorned on them. "You realize I don't have your number and I'm not asking for it, right? And you can tell these... elders, that."
"I meant more literally; if you call for me with the intent for me to hear it, I will." It probably sounded absurd to someone who was just learning about whitelighters, but since he wasn't entirely in the dark about magic, she figured it wasn't unbelievable.

"She was an old school witch," Billy shrugged. That was just one thing, among the millions, that made Lilia so cool. "And it wasn't so hard to break."
He had done it himself, no training, no suggestions, not even a hint as to how. But he had done it, crushed it in his palm after nearly killing every witch he had ever met. He scoffed. "The Elders? Seriously?"
That had to be the lamest thing he had ever heard. He worked his mouth. "No. I'm not. I've never even met a Chaos Witch. So if that's solved, you can go."
“If you can break whatever their on it's not too hard, the problem is that usually they're pretty well hidden and scrying for them doesn't normally work.” She'd only encountered it once before though, sigils were a neutral magic and she'd had a dark priestess who came after her and her sister use them before. Honestly Selena's sisters should leave Sophia alone or Nicolas was probably gonna lose it one day.
“I don't make up the rules, I just vaguely work for them against my will. They help give information about charges, but like most guardian based magical creatures the Angel of Destiny's magic is what actually assigns us. They can petition her to change her mind but there's no guarantee, they said they did it with you but all they did was transfer your charge to me instead of my cousin. I'm assuming they think my general background makes me a better option.”
Open and as honest as possible, answer questions if asked and don't straight up lie. She figured that was the best way to go about this, the boy clearly had trust issues. "So no, it's not 'solved'. I can go, but if you're in danger I'll sense it and come to help. Even if there isn't any danger, if you call for me I'll hear it.”
Caleb Mitchell
Caleb is 5 years older than Paige and Henry's twins and was orphaned as a baby, his mother dying to a demon attack when he was 6 months old. When Caleb was never picked up from daycare, the authorities were called and he was shuffled into the system well they looked for his mother. A year into his 2nd placement at 2 years old he was adopted by his foster family, they weren't magic and they had no more of an idea about his heritage then he did. When he was 13 there was an incident after his powers unlocked and his parents kicked him out after seeing his magic.
He worked his hands on the table, thumbs running over the knit sweater, dragging it over his knuckles a few times. It was a little convenient, the kind that Agatha would tell him to be wary of. A little too convenient, but still incredibly accurate.
"Someone put a sigil on me." He said, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms. He shrugged. "It hid me from all witchfolk."
“A little more old school than a cloaking spell, but could explain it. I don't really know much about Sigils but I know their power can be far reaching and extended, and breaking them is a bit of a bitch.” She couldn't help but wonder why someone would wanna hide him from witchfolk or magical being in general, but it was very possible it was a safety issue. Could it have been the Chaos Witch the elders mentioned.
“The elders didn't tell me much... But they said that you might need help and guidance.” She paused for a moment before deciding to be more vague about the next bit. “They said you were connected to something called a Chaos Witch?” If he didn't know, saying that he was her son might be a bit much. He seemed under the impression his parents were both entirely human, and adoption that wasn't a bomb to drop lightly - magic or not. “I assume that might be why they think you'd need more help and protection than a traditional whitelighters might be able to give.”
