CHARACTERS

These muses are the exploration of the Power of Three through different forms of media. There are three essentials of magic, Timing, Feeling, and the Phases of the Moon that are crucial for the perfect casting of a spell. Each 'brother' has control over one of these essentials and manifests through an active power within them. Along with their brotherly bond, whether it be through blood or through choice, constitute the Power of Three.

𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓇𝓂𝑒𝒹 - In this iteration, Pierce, Parker, and Phineas deal with being the new Power of Three after their younger brother, Priest, was murdered.

𝓎𝓊-𝑔𝒾-𝑜𝒽 - In this iteration, Marcus, Mahad, and Magna's Power of Three grows to deity levels. They regularly deal with planet level threats and have become master mages in their domains.

DAMI CASTS A HALF-GRIN IN PARKER'S DIRECTION, knows exactly what he's doing as he says, "have you considered they maybe just don't like your cooking?" they're fighting words ⏤ he knows it ⏤ but if everything's directed at him then parker isn't caught up in his head. it's worth it. anything for parker will always be worth it. "i guess i can settle for all of the above," dami raises one of his hands off the wheel as though he's conceding, "i didn't say anything about not drinking, i just said we're not drowning feelings in booze." they had a beach house for three days, though. dami could think of plenty to do that didn't involve drinking ⏤ but he also wasn't in parker's shoes. the question catches him off guard, though, and for a moment he doesn't really know how to answer. "i don't know, man," he shrugs, thinks it over for another moment, "it's like it's own kind of grief, you know? grieving what you had, the future you thought you were going to have."

They are indeed fighting words, and Parker double-takes as soon as they leave Dami's mouth. "It's time to do my best owl impression because whooooo don't like my cooking?! Have you lost it?" Parker scoffs, shaking his head, more words coming from him as he thinks about the audacity. "'Maybe they don't like my cooking'. Tch. Please." A beat of silence. "I wish them heffas would tell me they don't like my cooking. Bullshit if I ever did see."

It takes him a good two minutes of muttering and mentally figuring out the next dish he would give his staff before he returns to the conversation at hand. "That might be the worst part. it's hard enough to find somebody who wants to commit nowadays, and even harder for me because--" 'have to find a way to tell them I'm a witch without freaking them out...' Parker clears his throat, shifting his gaze away from Dami for a second while he gathers up his near slip up. "--I've always wanted the big romance with a guy willing to sweep my off my feet, a guy willing to stay, and to get that close only to fall? It's frustrating and infuriating and it makes me wonder, what about me is so undesirable?"

Phineas: Have you ever used your power to give someone an orgasm randomly?

He shakes his head, a smug expression on his features. "That's lazy as hell. If I'm gonna make somebody nut, I'ma put in the work for it."

"No, no no!" Logan exclaimed, the last remnants of a British accent clung to the syllables of his words anytime he was worked up like this. He paced the kitchen, fingers pushing through his hair, flour dust covering the apron he wore and nearly every counter surface in the kitchen. "You weren't supposed to be home from work for another hour at least! I had this whole thing planned!" He spoke a mile a minute, the words tumbled from pink lips like a firehose on full blast. "As soon as I realized I'd forgotten that your birthday was today I felt like absolute shit about it so I rushed to the grocery store after work and picked up the supplies to bake you the perfect cake and I was going to have cake and candles and sing you Stevie Wonder's rendition of the Happy Birthday song wearing nothing but this stupid apron but then the cake started going to shit and apparently I don't know how to use a standing mixer and I forgot to buy eggs and one of the balloons popped and--" He stopped and took a breath, he pressed the heels of his palms into his eyes. "--I'm sorry I'm a shitty boyfriend. Why did I think me doing terrible Stevie Wonder karaoke with my ass out would fix that?"

Hazel eyes are scanning the kitchen, expressive eyebrows appropriately climbed up on top of Pierce's forehead as he takes in the general disarray of the kitchen. His eyes are drawn to Logan's lips as a surge of words leaves him, and soon, the surprised expression melts into something softer. Pierce pops the button on his blazer and crosses the distance that separates them, somewhere in-between 'stupid apron' and 'standing mixer'. He softly tugs Logan's hands from his eyes and then ducks his head to press their lips together. "Baby... it's okay." His voice comes out warm, almost amused beneath all that tenderness. One hand settles against Logan’s waist, fingertips brushing flour off the side of the ridiculous apron while the other cups his cheek. Pierce kisses him again slower this time, hopefully enough to tamper the spiral into something a little more stable. "Forgetting one birthday is not that big of a deal, especially when I expect to share many more with you." He tugs him closer now. "However, if you miss it next year, we're gonna have a problem." He cracks his hand against Logan's ass for emphasis, the sharp smack causing the energy in the room to change. "You hear me?"

Pierce: Do you think that magic is either good or evil is it possible for it/ someone to be neutral?

"I think all magic is neutral and depends on who is using it." Pierce says, clearing his throat. "It's sort of like money in that it can bring out the worst in people, but I've experienced first hand that it can bring out their best too."

"I might have to crack." Phineas says with a growing grin, the glint of his tongue ring just behind that boyish smile. "Two empaths tapping into each other's feelings while fucking is probably euphoric. My inner vers would be riding that high for days."

Kane: What spell did you first use? What was the first spell you created?

"The Brother of Emotion is usually the most talented spellcaster." Mahad looks at Magna, smirking. "I'm better than he is though. The Power of Three spell was the first spell we all casted together. The first spell I created was a vanquish for the pack of Mimics we fought."

Magna chimes in next. "I'm taking credit for making Marcus' favorite spell. He's good at nonverbal casting, and will cast my barrier right before we get in a fight so we're never caught off guard."

The eldest slides his gaze over to Magna, a hint of a smile playing on his features, but he doesn't question how Magna knows it's his spell that he uses. "Whatever gets tha' job done."

Pierce: What are your thoughts on the cleaners?

Pierce presses his lips together and pushes air through his nose. "Read about them in the book, but I haven't had a chance to meet them. I'm hoping I never do. I typically keep us pretty tidy when it comes to doing what we have to do and getting out without a trace."

Parker nods his agreement. "Not that you asked me, but one thing about Pierce the Veil, he's gonna keep everything minimal mess and hella organized. It's that Capricorn Moon in him."

"I don't think everything can be attributed to astrological signs, Parks & Rec." Pierce smirks. "But sure."

Halliwells, you can only bring one Pokémon to the real world. Who do you choose?

"Halloway." Pierce corrects, then taps his bottom lip with his index finger. "I don't remember much about Pokemon, I remember there was a giant snake made out of rocks?"

"Onyx." Phineas provides.

"Yeah." Pierce snaps his fingers a couple of times. "I would go with him. I think... there was also a giant water-snake-leviathan-esque thing?"

"Gyrados."

"Him too."

When both Phineas and Pierce look at Parker, his eyebrows pinch together. "What y'all looking at me for? You know I don't know. Pikachu, chile."

Phineas rolls his eyes. "Cinccino for Parker, because he likes to nag us about keeping the house clean like the demons that attack the manor will give a shit about the sparkling baseboards."

"And in the time it took you to say that, you could've gotten started on the downstairs bathroom." Parker cuts his eyes towards him.

Phineas decides to turn on his selective hearing for that part. "Well, anyway, Incineroar is my dawg, but I love Rapidash."

Pierce tilts his head. "Oh? That's why you named your bike Rapidash."

"Eeeexactly." Phineas nods with a grin.

Mahad: what power do you wish you had?

"I'm coo' with what I got." Mahad shrugs his shoulders. "But if I had to pick one, Marcus' powers be coming in clutch. The amount of times we been shot at but the bullets hit like nerf darts."

Kane (fam): what was you siblings biggest mistake?

Magna replies without even hesitating, but the words come out thick and full of remorse. "We cast Ragnarok. Obliterated an entire timeline."

"We had to do it, man." Marcus shifts his gaze to his youngest brother, watching him.

After a few beats of silence, Mahad clears his throat. "The Source from another timeline got ahold of their Power of Three and the Nexus. He tried to jump into this timeline so our Source could do the same thing. When the Suxen spell didn't work, we knew had to get him before he got us."
