Elan soaked in everything he was saying, nodding slightly as he did so. She still had questions about it because some of it didnât make that much sense to her. How come the master got to decide what was worth printing? Although it was nice to hear it wasnât some vague council but the way it was described made it sound like women were left out of the printing which didnât seem particularly fair at all. What if someone wanted to get something printed and it wasnât considered worthwhile? Was it just based on who had the money to pay for it? But the way he had answered her questions told her she might learn more from finding a book on the subject and then asking him some more detailed questions once she had a better general background.Â
âI canât think of any right at this moment - or at least, questions that I can make enough sense of to make it worth asking because right now theyâre mostly jumbled up in my brain.âÂ
The old professor smiled at the girl and nodded, âWell, summer is not so long and if you have access to an owl Iâm only a letter away. Answering questions is... more or less my profession, as it were.â
