PssstâĶâĶ. Hard truth. I dare you to finish reading this post. America took over from Europe about 200 years ago to be the center for missions. More than 90 percent of missions support came from America. And by far the majority of missionaries sent out came from America. The first missionaries were commissioned to Myanmar (Burma) and labored their for a long time even translated the Bible into their own language. Today 6 percent of Myanmar are Christians and that can be traced back to these two missionaries. Thailand on the other hands is only 0.6 percent Christian and need much more.
While America still sends many missionaries around we the world the number to dripping dramatically. We must secure missionary work. Evangelicals at claim that 400,000 missionaries live on the field. Only 127,000 come from America. That means America only sends about 30 percent of missionaries. A major departure from when we took over as the leader on missions from Europe as the center and the center is missions is moving to the global south. America will no longer be the ones that send the most money or send the most missionaries. We are already surpassed in sending. But financially we are soon to be surpassed due to apathy in the church. For every $100,000 a Christian earns $1 goes to reach the un-reached. Thatâs bad. I would love for you to list eveythingn you spend more then a dollar on last years. If you earned $50,000, the statistically you give 50 cents to the unreached. Part of that isnât your fault. You gave to the missions of your local church possibly thinking it would get where itâs needed but it didnât. On average 20 percent of Christians actually tithe. From the total budget of the average local church 6 percent goes to missions interpersonal. But out of that 6 percent. Only shout 1 percent of that total money goes to the unreached. The rest goes to where they already have Bibles, they already have churches and they have already heard of jesus. Uganda, Kenya, Mexico, The Americaâs, Brazil, Peru are all popular places to do missions trips. Problem. They have more Christians than America does. They have Bibles. They know about Jesus. Kenya and Uganda are 88 percent Christians. Why do we keep sending our money, time, People, resources to countries with far more Christians that we have in American? Itâs easier. Thatâs why. Also you can get good results. You can get mass amounts to showy. You can get lots of people to show up to your mass meetings and you can claim tens of thousands to be saved because everyone raises their hands. They are hoping to get help or hand out by doing so.
The way missions used to be done is not the way God is going to do it now. You can get on the bus or get left behind. God wonât bless giving you where Christ has already been named. Paul refused to go if there was already a churches there. That has become our rule also. Paul said that yes following the plan God wrote about in the scripture that this who have never heard will see. And those who havenât seen will understand. And we can only to that by training this whoâs look more like the ones we are. But how we do it must change and Agape International is doing it. We also go by AIM1040 now.
Listen to this. There are 50,000 evangelical Christians for every one unreached people. We need 66,547 more missionaries to reach the unreached people in the 1040 window. There is 3.1 billion unreached that live there. It costs $59,500 to suppprt one western missionary on average. They give away most of their money. That sound likes a lot of money. This would cost 3.96 billion dollars to do it. Wow. How could we ever pay for such a thing?? Well, evangelical Christians make $6 trillion dollars a years. (5.98 trillion to be exact). This means is every Christians gave $6.63 for every $10,000 they earn we could suppprt all of those new missionaries needed. So if you made $50,000 a year, you would need to give less than $35 a YEAR - thatâs 3 a month.
Taking into account that there is really only 100,000 evangelism missionaries who are there to wins souls. The other 300,000 do good works. Build hospitals. Feed the hundred and things like that but theyâd rent front like missionaries. Only 1 in 4 are. That changed thing a little but these understanding starts the same. Instead of every one of the 341 million evangelism Christians giving $6.63. They need to give $26 for every $10,000 made per years. So a person making $50,000 they would need to give $131 in a years time. That is a merely $11 a month. What do you spend $11 a month on that you could redirect to the unreached m? All you have to do is take the amount you make. Multiplayer the sound of tens of thousands by how many tens of thousands you make and whatever that is per year. Give $26 per years. If you make $100,000 per years then you give $260 per years. Or a mere $22 a month. Got it!!???? That is NOTHING.
OH AND LISTEN TO THE GREAT NEWS. For every 5120 Christians we just need one more person that will say yes to the field then we have now and we can have the amount of missionaries we need.
Tragically, as encouraging as this stats are and what these Statistics show us that we ARE NOT going to do this. THE LEVEL of self endulgence, the love of money, the lack of churches to send a faction of the money they sworn to buildings, structures and other material objects will send more people to hell than drugs, alcohol or Hollywoodâs ever will.
Whatâs AIM1040 doing about it? I told you it cost almost 60 K a year to send an America. To the mission field. To send those from the global south to the missions field will only cost between $200 a month to $350 a month. Or annual that is $2400 a years to $4200 a year. No only that. We have a plant to self employed these missionaries. We teach them English and teach them to get jobs through our plan to give given careers by training in a A+ rated service, hospitality and food & beverage bristly. We can send 12 to 15 fron the global south for every American they would go. When they are finished they are guaranteed to get a high paying job. Many times more then what they need to live. They can send money home, be help supported and be fully supported to reach the world for Jesus. My sister Leah is coming here is a few weeks for this very. Purpose. We will change how missions is done forever. We wonât have a Money or a people problem. We even have house churches willing to give 50 percent of their ministries income because they are the true church did it the Bible way. Acts 2:42-47. No overhead. All kingdom. Churches that are transitions and have have big overhead. We donât internet then. You have to do whet you have to do. But if you focused your giving on those who have never heard. Wow. What could we do as the church. We could reach the world In one generation and we are determined to do it. We arenât waiting for the American churches to get on beside. Last year a total of 6 local churches gave to us. If you bring down what 6 churches gave on a monthly based (.for most churches) the only group that works with this who have never heard. Even Burma has 6 percent Christians. They need jesus yes. But the definition of unreached is less than 2 percent we are the only ones that most churches give to that work with unreached s.
In Total local churches (besides my own dads church. Praise God they gave) but besides my dads church, the five churches that gave; some gave a couple of time. One gave one time. The other three gave monthly. If you broke down their gift monthly and they gave what amounted to $604 a month. I know what they oay in rent in their buildinns. Itâs tough. But on average. These churches gave $694 to missions, paid on average over a million dollars in building parents or rental payment. Yikes. These 5 churches total attendance was 4165 spending over a million just for their building that are used one or twice a weeks for meetings. They gave to 4 grand tomissions but we were the only ministry they gave to that was unreached. Under 2 percent Christians. The numbers hold about true. If you break it down? Those churches gave about $1.75 per person that goes to their churches. My dad church alone gave to me and my daughter $1000 a month to me and $500 to my daughter. Thatâs $1500. They have about 300 members. So that gave about 6 times per person to world missions. Over all they gave almost three times what the 5 churches combined game. Still that is $2100 fron churches. When you add their rent in there. Itâs about 1.2 million just in building overhead. Not counting salary, power bills and all else.
This isnât to criticize. This is how we were all taught to do church. Iâm thankful for what we reach. Its all the know. So can the Church learn s new ticjnffj the right This is to take about some truth that itâs time to face. Why should anyone hear the gospel twice until everyone has heard once. We are thankful for every dollar these churches gave. Guess what. Itâs more then a any other churches gave. But what if we also did our part. What if you gave $6 for everyone 10 grand you made and designated it tote unreached. To give to agape guarantees that will be done. What if for every 5000 Christian - 1 said yes to missionary life. We are going to make sure that at least 9 out of those 10 missionaries are from America. Want to sign up. Whatâs scaring out. Donât worry about money or passports. Just sign up below to show interest in being a missionary for a one year time and take it from there and sign up thatâs at yes this year are from the global south and the rest with be western nations. Doesnât take long. I dare ya. We have a plan. We need partners and we will do the rest. Challenge accepted???? Blessings.
The first time this village has ever heard the nativity story was Christmas 2020 when we did a beautiful and huge nativity story ALL IN THAI, even using buddhist actors to tell the story. It was a beautiful and wonderful Christmas experience like I have never seen where many came to Christ. (at Khua Mung) https://www.instagram.com/p/CX249MJrZjJ/?utm_medium=tumblr

I have traveled the world and what I have found is this. In every culture and religion and people group. People just want to be treated kindly. When you are kind, it makes them happy. I make friends everywhere I go. From restaurants, to the sidewalk stands, to the employees of the hotels, everyone. Iâm just very kind to them and make sure that I have kind eyes and that Iâm understanding even when something happens thatâs bad. I was getting in a car yesterday when a man plowed into our car with his motorbike. I picked him up and his bike and checked in him and was nice to him. He ended up being ok. I smile at the servers and tell them what a great job they are doing even if itâs not that great. I try to find something good about everyone I meet and then I tell them. It changes everything. Every time. I realize if they are Muslim, Buddhist, animist, Hindu, atheist, whatever. They just want someone to be nice to them because they arenât used to that. At first it surprises them and they donât know how to respond. But by the third or fourth day that i come to their establishment, they are so excited that Iâm there. They run to meet me, they ask for pictures, they smile so big even if we canât talk too much and they genuinely are happy in here. You know what??? Besides leading someone to Christ and family, the thing I enjoy most in the world is making a person smile from any background and from any religion and from any nations. I just like making people happy. You should try it. Itâs a wonderful life and it really lifts people around you. #Vietnam People are just people anywhere you go! One of my favorite pics from todayâs outreach. This sweet Thai girl was so happy to have her ice cream and to play games and to hear about Jesus. The oldest guess I have had in Vietnam about my age is 32. Most say 30 years old. They are shocked when I say 42. I had to show my license. No one believes me. The verse is true.
