The Engagement Party || F2F - Sean and Charlotte

Sean stood there, there was a lot going on and she just seemed a bit at loss, he definitely felt like this was an awkward encounter. He sighed, “But that’s my daughter how do you expect me not to get involved exactly?” He stated looking over at her for a moment, “Yes your sister deserves to be the happiest girl in the world that doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t know and i should talk to her about this and that she shouldn’t know that I am the father to her niece.” He stated looking over at her for a moment. 

Charlotte stood there looking over at the guy, she was feeling very awkward at that moment. She stood there looking over at him for a moment as she ran a hand through her hair and laughed a little, “You just can’t, this is my sister and i can’t have her hate me for this. She loves you and wants everything with you. Why would I jeopodize that?.” She stated looking over at him for a moment as she sighed, “Can we talk about this somewhere more private because its kind of hard right now. I want you part of her life but I don’t want to mess this up for my sister.”

Sean was trying to analyse the situation and understand the situation he was in. He hated feeling like this, he was engaged and this was meant to be a happy day for him but it now felt like there was so much happening. “Well that makes me feel so special. Well you could have at least said goodbye.” He stated running a hand through her hair for a moment, and nodded, hearing her words he was shocked, he was a dad, a dad to his fiances sisters kid and he had no clue. “Wow… I am a dad.. That’s not what I expected to hear at all but here I am here standing in front of you and you’re telling me I have a kid. Not something I expected to hear at all. What am I meant to tell your sister?” He stated letting his head fall to the floor. 

Charlotte stood there looking over at hte guy, her nerves and everything raced through her, her little girl didn’t even know that Sean was her dad so in all honesty she didn’t see why they couldn’t just go on like nothing had happened. She sighed looking over at him and laughed, “Well I know you didn’t expect to hear it but oh well. And you don’t have to tell ehr anything as we have deal on our for the past few years, you don’t need ot be involved.” She stated looking at him for a moment, she didn’t know what too do, “Look my sister deserves to be happy, so please make her the happiest girl alive and marry her. I will talk to her about this if you think she should know but I need you to not decide that you don’t want to do this now.” She sighed, she felt bad because she knew this was going to hurt her sister and she would rather be the one to break the news to her.

Sean stood there, his mind was racing, he was in front of the girl who had ran out of him and never saw again and he was now marrying her sister, how did that happen? They didn’t look like each other at all yet he was now stuck. He spent so long trying to find the girl before realising she didn’t want to be found by him. He laughed a little nodding, “Well glad i am not that forgettable. Why did you walk out? Why did you not want to see me again? I went looking for you and kept trying to find you but I couldn’t. I met your sister in the coffee shop once and we had been talking for a good few weeks and then it kind of happened from there.” He sighed, “I didn’t know you two were related though. Who’s kid is that? Well I mean I know she’s yours by the looks of things but like who’s the father? Is he here? Is he your boyfriend or fiance or what?” 

Charlotte could feel nerves run through her body more then ever now, she had never thought that she would be stuck in the same room as him again and having to remember walking out on him after they had had sex. She laughed a little shaking her head for a moment, she sighed, “Well I mean I don’t think you could be that forgettable, I might have walked out but doesn’t mean I forget the people I have slept with. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to see you again I was just not in a good place and I definitely wouldn’t have been good in a relationship that I just left. Well I am sorry you couldn’t find me. Well I’m happy for you.” She said, she heard his words and didn’t know how to answer it but it was something she was going t have to answer straight up. “Well we are. That is your kid actually and that is me being honest. A few weeks after we slept together i found out I was pregnant and I hadn’t sleep with many people in the month that we slept togehter. So yes he is here. And there is no man in my life. My only person in my life is my little girl.” She stated, she didn’t want to tell him at first but felt that she had too.

Sean stood there with his fiance ready to celebrate their engagement, it had been a long time coming he was looking for some fun. As he stood there infront of someone he never expected to see again though he was ready to get drunk. The fact they had had a one night stand a long time ago, he didn’t think he would see her again once she had left and walked out the morning after. Then she now has a kid, did she have a kid when they slept together? No she couldn’t have, the kid looked around four. He nodded, “Oh Nice to meet you Charlotte. “He said before getting down a little, “Nice to meet you Brittany. Lovely dress, you look very smart.” He smiled before Brittany ran up to Kylie and then Kylie was distracted so he took the girls arm for a moment and walked outside, “Look we need to talk. I know you remember me as much as I remember you.”

Charlotte was standing there looking over at the guy, the guy she slept with and then just ditched, how did he end up with her sister? Yes they didn’t really look a like so its not like he chose her because they looked alike. How was she meant to act normal around him when he is the father to Brittany. She wanted to protect her little girl but now she had to tell him that he was a dad? Something that could ruin her sisters wedding. She didn’t know what to do as she saw him speak to the girl. As she heard his words as he pulled her arm, she was in shock as they walked outside, “Of course I remember you and I know I walked out on you before you say anything but how did you end up with my sister?”

Sean was engaged and so much was going on, it was crazy, how he thought this was he life, he didn’t know. He knew he loved Kylie, the woman he was engaged to, he had proposed just about a month ago and he was happier then he had ever been. Even if there were some doubts about it but he knew they were not obvious. As the party filled in, he was going to be meeting people he hadn’t met just yet and he was slightly nervous but he wasn’t going to put on a brave face.  He had dressed up in a suit and tie and felt super sat right now and that wasn’t him

As he saw his grandma walk in, he kissed the top of Kylie’s head and then cheek before walking over to his grandma to help her, whilst Kylie spoke to her parents. His grandma meant a lot to him, they were like best friends, but as old age was getting to t her, the knew things were going to happen that could possibly ruin him but he wasn’t going to worry about that right now.

After taking his grandma to a seat he waked to return to Kylie, to see her talking to someone, and it looked like her sister. As he made it back and face the girl, he was about to introduce himself, when he was shocked as to who it was. It was the girl, the girl he had a one night stand, the girl who just snuck out and he couldn’t find her anywhere that he gave up. Now he was left looking at her, wondering what was going on but he needed to break the silence so he decided to just go with “Hi. Do I know you from somewhere? I’m sure I recognise you.” He stated he didn’t want to be completely honest, not with his fiancé standing right there but he needed  the awkwardness to go.

Charlotte was told that she had her sisters engagement party, was it really something she wanted, could she even be bothered to go, because that meant she had to deal with people and make sure Brittany, her daughter was okay and she also knew everyone would be making a fuss over her, so she didn’t think it was omethign she could sit through or even go through but she promised her sister Kylie that she would be there. So she dressed Brittany in a blue dress before getting dressed in a tight pink dress before looking over at the little girl ho was excited. She actually had never met he guy her sister was engaged too and she was worried because her sister meant a lot to her and she was worried this guy was going to hurt her. 

As she made it to the party she looked around before she found her mom and she walked over to the woman and hugged her for a moment and let her look after Britt for a moment before she looekd around. This was until she saw her sister so she took Brittany’s hand and smiled at the little girl, “Are you ready to see Auntie Kylie?” She asked before walking over to see Britt run at Kylie before she smiled and hugged her sister. This was till she saw the guy who her sister was dating at her sisters side and she bit her lip for a moment before she heard his words. This was Brittany’s dad and she did’t know what to say. “Hi, I don’t know, I don’t think you know me. I’m Charlotte, Kylie’s sister. This is Brittany.”
