He could only imagine the sort of life that sent you somewhere like here - indentured, sure, but not really captured nor a slave. The man looks down and lets out a slight chuckle. “I just arrived from my home, I don’t know that I’m in a position to say yet. Just in case. I wasn’t completely sure if this is home by choice, or situation? No one is kidnapped to come here, right? I don’t see any bars or whatever on windows...” He’d read the information packet on place that said it was all consensual, but he wanted to make sure from a more unbiased source.

Instead he focused more on the world they were in rather than each one’s place in it. “I can imagine this being quite the place to live. I mean, the beach, a remote island, fresh faces coming in all the time. different experiences and the run of this whole place which is... amazing,” he said, holding the door open for her. “Do you miss being back home... wherever that was?” It was a little more personal, but you had to wonder if you missed the things of home - your own room, the smell of books, coffee, local shops and the seasons.

Mindlessly looking around, it was tempting not to peek back inside. You didn’t come across a body like that everyday, he admitted to himself. The man’s muscled shoulders rose and fell in response. “Sorry to disturb you then.
