House is Cuddy’s pet freak and we need to remember that. She made a whole department for his enrichment, it’s glass so she can look into his enclosure like he’s a hamster. She scolds him like he’s a dog who chewed a newspaper and not actively committing crimes. Just a disappointed sigh before letting him loose again. When he comes back post gunshot she’s with Wilson picking a case for him like an enrichment toy.
