chase comes from a rich family in atlanta, ga. his mother and father are both pharmaceutical researchers for big pharma and he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, was essentially raised to be the typical southern gent
well, in the middle of college, he applied to be on a reality television sow about finding love // think love island sort of thing. he went on the show as the stereotypical ‘frat boy, southern’ trope and somehow on the show he ended up falling out of the closet in love with another man
the two ended up ‘winning’ the show and getting substantial clout from their winnings. they were beloved by all of the fans until they became irrelevant. at that point the two decided that they weren’t for one another and they broke up.
now, a few years later, chase is basically a has-been washed up reality star who is trying to just make ends meet. his ultimate goal is to go back to school and study political science so he’s currently taking some online classes unbeknownst to most
to make ends meet he’s working at a barber shop and makes a decent living so he’s torn on whether or not he actually wants to move on from his current occupation
essentially he’s just going around town like a giant f*ckboy, drinking, partying, doing drugs and having meaningless hookups. as far as the killer is concerned chase could care less. in fact, he’s kind of happy the crowds at bars at night have dwindled down. he mostly is just a reckless clown and is like psh so what about the murders

he has a thick southern accent that he doesn’t realize that he has?? and is just very annoying in general
chase is like a lil spoiled brat but he tries to hide it by seeming like he’s hardworking even tho he hasn’t had to work for much in his life and now he works decently hard at the barber shop but also likes to play hard too
basically he is a huge southern dork who thinks he is much cooler than he is...like he will do anything to be perceived as cool
