Idk, I’m just thinking about how Marinette is doubting everyone AND herself rn. She couldn’t tell that wasn’t Adrien on the train, so how would she know that wasn’t Adrien in the middle of her meltdown? How could she know if Adrien wasn't helping Félix - playing a part in the the whole plan, working an angle. He could have been trying to get her to detransorm in a moment of vulnerability and then discover her identity... He did throw the door open - we know it was in order to comfort her, but had she seen that, it could have easily been misinterpreted. All she knows for sure is that she was tricked 🤔 On the flip side, how is Chat going to help ladybug hunt down and interrogate Adrien if he can’t be two people at once - that’s what got him into trouble and got Félix the Miraculous in the first place.

So, I know Chat Blanc gave us Adrien confessing to Marinette just as soon as he learns she is Ladybug, but could you imagine the sheer chaos that would come from him full on Chat-level flirting with her instead?

Marinette just standing casually at her locker, minding her business, and Adrien comes up behind her and covers her eyes like “Guess who?” Then all of the hand kisses, roses, cheesy pick-up lines, compliments. Poor girl would completely overheat, and I would be here for it.

can we talk about the way emilie has clouds on her dress and the sun in her hair, the way she represents the sky and that peace or freedom to little adrien.. about the gray house and gabriel's gray shirt and hair, the way he's associated with walls and restriction.. about adrien taking pieces of them both.. the yellow sun can be counted as coincidence, but the blue clouds and gray house, the even measure between his parents, the juxtaposition between the two, the way regardless of what each parent's color represents, he's still wearing their colors rather than one of his own. there's an adrien hiding behind there, green like the name his father is standing on, but all he ever knew to be was to be what his parents projected onto him, and that felt like enough. that felt like a happy childhood.
