Dear MarkiArtists and Markiplier Community,
We are proud to announce the opening of the first MarkiArtists for Charity event! From March 7th to April 6th artists who are part of the MarkiArtists group will be accepting Markiplier and Markiplier related (Tiny Box Tim, Wilford Warfstache, etc. etc.) fanart in an effort to raise money for Child’s Play.
All profit (excluding shipping costs) will go directly to Child’s Play via the Child’s Play Donation Widget, here. We are hoping to raise at least $100 during the fundraiser. If we hit our goal before the end of the fundraiser we will just increase the goal until the fundraiser is over.
As a result, we would like to go over some vital information about how commissions and donations will work during this event.
The Child’s Play Donation Widget can also be found on our tumblr page, here, located in our sidebar. The Widget only accepts donations through PayPal. All donations must be in the form of US Currency.
If you commission a MarkiArtist, then we ask that you send your email request to the group email AND the emails of all the group mods (excluding _EE). You can find the email addresses at the contact page on our blog (here).
Please DO NOT just send the artist a message on Tumblr. We will forward the commission message to artist and make sure the commission heeds to our Commission Rules.
To donate to the Child’s Play Widget you need to have a Child’s Play Widget account. If you are commissioning a piece of artwork, you must tell the mods what name your Widget account has so we can make sure you are donating the right amounts.
First come first serve: If someone requests a commission from an artist before you and their commission is the last one the artists can take, you will just have to wait for a commission spot to open.
In addition, those of you who are NOT commissioning artwork and would just like to donate, do not have to email the mods.

You can see our commission artists as well as their examples of work, pricing, and other details, go to our ‘Artists List’, here. Each artist has a profile linked to their name. If you click on the name then it should lead you to the artist’s profile. You can ask the artist about commission information, but if you want to request an artist in particular email the group and all the mods (EXCEPT _EE).
All of us at the MarkiArtists for Charity would like to thank all the individuals, and the Markiplier community, for helping us start this group. Without the Markiplites/Heroes we would not have been able to do this. We are all looking forward to raising money for Child’s Play. We really have no words for this but, “Thank you.” Thank you, Mark for believing, not only in us, but in the Markiplier community as a whole. You always talk about about how you expect us to do great things, because you know we can. Even when it comes to overcoming the pitfalls and loneliness we deal with everyday, whether it may be depression, anxiety, mental illness, or any other difficulties we might face, you give us faith and hope. And to be honest, that’s all we can ask for. And in return, we want to SHOW you how your belief in us has affected us for the better. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
