Are you still in toh fandom? Sorry if this is an weird question but you havent been posting much about it

No, maybe? Possibly? Im not fully sure.

Ive learned over the 2 years ive been on the internet to not engage with fandoms I'm actually a huge fan of. In all honesty it ruins it for me.

That was what happened with The Owl House. I engaged quite a bit, made myself a platform, and later, with that fame, lost my interest.

I still plan on making content in due time but expect it to be slower than I used to.

If I do interact its mainly on platforms like twitter. Unlike here I get feedback and im able to debate counter arguments more than I did before on here. That I find entertaining. I am a very opened minded person so hearing a counter argument that isnt purely made up is fun in my opinion. But too much can lead to burnout, so I've learned.

This is the first time Frederick Mansell kills someone at Bastion's command. It is spoilers for the original novel, so this is the sort of official scene, but not at the same time lol XD

My biggest worry is that a lot of people forgot exactly this. Words can really effect anyone online and off, while most of the time a person can hide behind a screen it doesnt stop the effects It can have on someone.

Say what you want about the Michael Kovach situation, but i believe it's more than a "nothing burger". His actions and those who surrounded him's actions trickles down from just "an edgy joke" to the normalization of racism within TADC. Now from what ive seen due to his and Ashley's actions more people within the fandom are feeling grossly comfortable with showing their racism and no matter how many apologizes Michael can give, it can never undo the damage.

As for any person of color who might see this post or follow me, I wanna apologize for just the hostility of the fandom. Know that you are beautiful and are worth more than whatever gross words come out of this drama. You all deserve to be heard, no matter your views on this situation.

Im working on a clay sculpture of the sheep from Reanimal but so far I've spent over an hour just sculpting the wooden plank background and its driving me nuts

I hate it when people are trying to give their evil fav characters the stupidest excuses ever to make them look better, but what I hate even more is when people are trying to take away the depth and the motivations of the villain characters and turn them into a caricature cartoon pure evil with no motivation either bc they hate them or bc they love pure evil characters way too much

This goes with Belos, he is a colonist with a colonist mentality. No crime is below him and no crime he is exempt from. While obviously whatever crimes I think he committed besides what is clear in the show are headcannons, I find it rather annoying when others think he's civil enough to not hurt people in other ways than just pain killing them.

He is evil, obviously, but he's not that one "pure evil" type of a villain, there are different types and it doesn't really affect how bad they are. Just bc he isn't "pure evil" doesn't mean he's not bad and just bc he's bad doesn't mean he's pure evil

He's not one not bc he's not bad, but bc he has a motivation and an idealogy and he believes he fights for the greatest good. Does it make his actions any better? Obviously not, but "pure evil" characters don't believe they're fighting for good and are actually right

Absolutely, but a lot of people take that "well he thought he was doing things for the greater good" as an excuse as well to not see him as evil as he is.

Pure evil characters refuse to see themselves as anything but right, as does Belos. They dont care about the people they harmed just as long as they get what they want. Pure evil characters still have motivation and a strive for what they believe is the right choice. But what separates them is that most of the time evil characters can be redeemed, belos can not and will never be redeemed.

Belos takes his values and pushes them into the BI, he erases culture, pushes a "pure" religion, and causes a MASS genocide. That isn't redeemedable, that isn't excusable, that's PURE evil

Ive gotten a lot of Reanimal fanart on my fyp and it made me curious of the game.

Turns out it has all the elements of the types of horror games I enjoy so im definitely putting that on my wishlist
