Rest In Peace, Chester Bennington.
When I first saw the headline about Chester Bennington committing suicide I thought it was a twisted joke or a hoax.
I’m rarely truly shaken up and shocked by a celebrity’s death but this one really caught me off guard.
I’d always see him talking about his children, his band just released an album, he seemed to have it together on the surface, despite having stated that he’s struggled with depression and addiction in the past.
This is exactly why you can never judge a person’s state of mind and well-being based on what they allow you to see. You never know the demons they’re dealing with when nobody’s around.
RIP Chester.
