lewis deserved abu dhabi but max deserved to get at least third in silverstone (where lewis hit him) so abu dhabi points wise should not have made a difference in the championship.

I feel like people are so determined to not like George that anything he says they twist it or get mad at him for about it. He was asked a question about whether or not he thought Kimi could challenge him next year and his response was yes because that’s what I did. He wasn’t insulting Lewis or trying to brag or whatever everyone is convinced he was trying to say. That’s what happened and he was saying you can’t underestimate anyone because they could perform to a level higher than anyone expected. Nothing he said was a lie. No one expected him to go into the Mercedes seat and be the first teammate to finish ahead of Lewis for many years. I cannot recall a single time where George has said something that he meant to be an insult towards Lewis. Lewis is his hero and someone that he seemingly has a good relationship with. It doesn’t need to be twisted into some unnecessary argument.
