Mr Mercedes š¤©š¤
Max really took his own advice that he gave Kimi about the race start š¤£š¤£ (āSo, when the lights go out, you (Antonelli) wait one second!ā)
but in other news ANTONELLI WINS THE MONACO GRAND PRIX! š²šØš¤š„š¤Æ
OMG Antonelli on pole in Monaco š²šØ. Was not expecting that after the pace on the Ferraris and Max in free practice. LFG !!!!
Did Charles, Lewis, and Max all just bottle or is the baby goat just THAT good? (genuine question btw)
I genuinely think that, years from now, we will look back at this podium and marvel at how special it was.
Canadian GPā Iāll keep this brief, despite there being so much to say!
Iām absolutely gutted for George. Not his fault, and he had such a great weekend leaning up to today. The wheel-to-wheel racing from our two Mercedes drivers today was absolutely incredible to watch! If anyone can turn this around and lock back in, itās George. šŖš¼
Kimi Antonelli = baby GOAT. Iāve been saying this for a long time now. Like, legitimate GOAT energy.
Onward and upward. LETās GO TEAM šš„š¤š¤
Regarding the sprintā the rule literally states that when overtaking on the outside, your front axle has to be in front of that of the car ahead at the apex (see below for proof). Kimiās wasnāt. Simple as thatā¦
Not sure why everyone is in such an uproar about this. Yāall might need to get your eyes checked. Iām a hugeeee Kimi fan btw.
Congrats to George. And still a good result from Kimi. Already stacking up some great point for the team š¤©
On to quali !!!
George Russell, Miami GP ā26 (colorized)
JAPAN šÆšµšø
Amazing weekend for the team!!!! Kimi in particular has just been looking so strong. Like, everyone knows that George is the favorite for the championship. We know him and are familiar with how special of a driver heās become. But seeing Kimi in particular come out of his shell so rapidly has been really fun to watch. Itās awesome to see him on the podium, totally relishing in how much hard work has gone into moments like this. Iām so glad Merc believed in him and brought him in! I just wish George couldāve been up there with him instead of Charles lol.
Unfortunate that Georgeās proposed changes to the car didnāt end up panning out. His sudden drop back behind Charles was also weird and I hope that doesnāt indicate a larger issue with the car. I donāt think it does, but just something to watch out for, I suppose.
Iām already seeing comments about the team screwing George over⦠Just a reminder for the uneducated fans out there that the drivers propose changes like that. Sometimes the changes improve the carās performance as intended, sometimes they donāt. Letās not create this false narrative of the team trying to sabotage their #1, championship-favorite driver.
I love Japan every year! Definitely one of my favorite tracks in the vibes are always so fun and energetic. See yāall in Miami. šāļø
MERC ON TOP !!!! š¤
Sorry Iāve been bad about posting, but I did just wanna come on here and say that I woke up to a bunch of news about āfrustrationā and ādifficultyā on Georgeās end during quali in Japan. And then I look at the grid and GR is P2. LOL
God I love this season so far. š¤£š¤£

P1 in the sprint babayyyyy very nice, very nice
There are just so many things I could say about this, but Iād better just leave it here.
Sprint pole for George!
He was .289 off of P2, and something like .6ish off of P3. Once again, can we stop with the rocketship comments? Yeah, the car is amazing, but letās put some credit on our driversā names.
This is the same man who JUST said āYou get paid a stupid amount of money to drive, so you can't really complain at the end of the day. You can retire if you want."
Lando Norris is unsurprisingly still unlikeable and braincell-less in the great year of 2026.
I keep seeing comments about āillegalā engines/cars etc in regard to Mercās projected success and 1-2 in quali. Before we say things like that, letās just consider two (of many) reasons why that is not the case:
1) James Allison, who essentially built the chassis of the W17, is an underrated constructor with ELEVEN championships to his name. Itās time we put more respect on it!
2) McLaren, Williams, and Alpine also all have Mercedes powertrains. If it was ONLY the Merc engine that was the problem then all those customer teams would be fast too. But theyāre not. Therefore itās not just the engine making us fast. Other teams just werenāt as effective at building everything outside of the engine. No malicious intent behind that, just statement of fact.

GEORGE ON POLE!!!!
AND KIMI WITH A MIRACULOUS P2 AFTER TOTALING THE CAR JUST HOURS PRIOR
Letās hope the boys can convert this to a 1-2 finish.
Huge shoutout to everyone in the garage for working so hard to get Kimi back out there. So proud of the team!!!!
This picture goes so incredibly hard. Weāve never been more back. Merc dominance era is INCOMING, I been telling yāall. š¤š©µšš„
