my style? INCONSISTENT. but my commitment to womens art will never waver
you can't criticize anything here without some dumbass saying "look it might be weird but its not wrong. gay people are weird, do you hate them too?" and its like, their default argument.
to me eugenics can not happen at an individual level, how someone chooses to or not to reproduce should always be entirely up to them. Eugenics is about forcing your beliefs about ‘good genetics’ on to other people and preventing them from making their own decisions about what happens to their own body, whether that be forced sterilisation or only being allowed to have a baby with someone who has the ‘right genes’.
Someone choosing not to reproduce or to have a abortion because they have a genetic disease that can be passed down, or because the baby will be disabled or any other reason is not eugenics, it reproductive rights
the argument is that it's not at an individual level if so many women make the decision to abort a fetus that it results in a lower population of disabled children (the horror!) they act like all these women are somehow organized and communicating and represent some disabled-hating movement. because of course every thing a woman does is in service of some grander evil scheme 🙄 but like you said it's not eugenics, it's not a policy or a movement, it's individual women each exercising their reproductive freedom. if women en masse are not having the babies you want them to have you can go kick rocks about it
if it's so unethical to want to avoid giving birth to an unhealthy baby why should women avoid drugs and alcohol during pregnancy
what it all comes down to is the belief that pregnancy is god's will, that babies are gods creations, and women's bodies are just the vessels he uses to make life. it's the belief that pregnancy is passive. anything the woman does to actively interfere with god's plan is her playing god and acting above her station.
but we know this is bullshit, that women's bodies make unconscious decisions regarding pregnancy, from conception to miscarriage, prioritizing her welfare above all else. if binge drinking during pregnancy is an active choice that creates a disabled child, materially so is continuing a pregnancy that you know will create a disabled child. there is no difference in outcome for the child who has to deal with the lifelong disability. and there's no material difference between miscarriage and abortion, either, except that one is a conscious choice. fundamentally, what people are uncomfortable with is women defying what they see as divine authority by exerting her own will over creation. but she's the only god in this scenario, because nobody's getting created without her.
it’s 2026 i think it’s high time we left mind-body dualism behind us as a species. let’s go into 2027 with the full understanding that we are our bodies and that our consciousness cannot be separated from them thank you
ever since I was a little girl I always knew I had problems with authority and wanted to be disobedient and difficult to manipulate
EXCUSE ME?
unshaved female legs are a sign of freedom
i get why people don't believe in marriage as a social construct but legally it is the best and easiest way to say "this is who i trust to take care of me when i can't take care of myself" and i'm so glad gay people fought for that right bc when shit gets scary at least i know im in good hands
the most important virtues for the young woman are as follows: time theft, selfishness, orgasms, irreverence to authority, sacrilegious behavior, a questioning mind, and eating regular meals.
Yes it is
does this also include trans lesbians
they’re literally mentioned in the post
Oh so you’re one of those people
yes.
perfect example of how they ask "what about me im a twans woman 🥺" because they're looking for validation via your submission to them, and if you don't give them the answer they feel entitled to, you're labeled a TERF. they don't actually care about being welcome (they know you'll include them because you don't have a choice), they just wanna see you grovel. it's a power move.
Op removed this reply and then turned off reblogs, so here you go.
I don’t know how any woman can go through pregnancy, labour, and early postpartum, and not come out the other side rabidly pro choice.
No woman should have to go through any of that unless she absolutely wants to. Abortion should be free, easy to access and available for any reason.
I truly love seeing women at abortion rights rallies with signs like "mother by choice, for choice" like hell fucking yes sister, say it louder
its so fascinating to me how both professional published m/m romance and internet slash fic 99% of the time is written by a woman who likely doesnt have extensive experience with adult men in long term ssa relationships and thus she writes from what she does know which is her own friendships. and the end result is that the relationships in these stories are more like two women together than men. and then younger girls read these stories and relate and think it makes them gay men. no… youre a woman… relating to a womans writing…
reminds me of this
our biggest problem is that women believe men are the people they pretend to be around women. That is not a real guy, that is his 'interacting with a woman' costume. I was reminded this for the 6897th time the other friday where not many people were in the office and the nicest young guy in the department who crochets and is very kind to all the women here was talking to a few other young guys about his girlfriend and his friends' girlfriends, and it was harrowing. What he was saying was bad enough but he and the others even stopped themselves and laughed and said "well, that's about as much as I can say in the office." like what there's MORE?
All the while I am sure his girlfriend thinks she has struck gold with her nice long haired golden retriever crochet boyfriend
