I think people would be happier if they thought of tenna as a cartoon character instead of some kind of evil big dom daddy who's emotionally abusive and has around zero positive traits. tenna will do a little dance while he walks and whistle his theme song. he will smell a pie being baked nearby and float towards it with a big smile. he will jump and clap his toes when he's happy and say wahoo. he loves his family and his game boards not harming people

Look, I get that the agreed upon dynamic in QueenTenna is Queen makes Tenna flustered out of his mind, and I love that

But may I present the alternative: Queen getting flustered by Tenna's shenanigans. Play up the sappy romcom romantic vibes, the flowers, the gifts, the sappy poems and songs, absolutely everything he can do he will do. Let them be sappy in love, pet names, matching outfits, dinner dates. I don't have anything else to add, peace

(I just want them to have some mutual love, idk)

I don't know if you've been asked this before, but what's your favourite Deltarune chapter so far and why? I'd love to know

Hoooo boy good question.

I think at the moment Chapter 4. First time playing it made go "oh this is something else". The general mood of unease, with fun sprinkled in. Amazingly weaved in characterization. It really set up the future chapters to really start rolling plot and action-wise.

With Chapter 3 breaking the illusion that this is only silly and fun make-believe, Chapter 4 let's us dig one layer deeper into the game. I generally like the how the existential, dark fantasy aspects mix well with the "mundane" Light World parts. Funny enough, Noelle's house segment was my fav part of the game.

I think Gerson being in this Chapter is really vital. Just as the doom and gloom of the chapter would get overwhelming, this old turtle steps in to turn it on its head. The overall theme is still important, but he is here to remind us what's important here. (and remind Susie as well.)

I loved the character development with Susie and Ralsei too ofc. AND KRIS! KRIIIIIIIS!

Overall the chapter is nicely paced too, making replays really fun. (Although I'm stuck at the Mike minigames atm dfkgjfdl)
