It’s been one day since I graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University! Here’s my cap!
For those that aren’t familiar, this is the flag of my people, the Purepecha people, in Michoacan, Mexico. It says “Juchari Uinapikua” in our Purepecha language which translates to Spanish as “Nuestra Fuerza” and in English as “Our Strength”.
Over the years I’ve proudly reclaimed who I am, who I’ve always been, which is indigenous. I’m happy that I’m now in a place in my life that no longer feels ashamed or embarrassed of where I come from.

Deep Asks
If today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you’re about to do today?
What worries you the most about the future?
Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?
If you had a friend that spoke to you in the same way that you speak to yourself, how long would you allow that person to be your friend?
What is the differcne between loving and existing?
If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always afraid to make a mistake?
What impact do you want to leave on the world?
Is it out of reach or have you just not stretched yourself far enough?
In the haste of our daily lives, what are we not seeing?
If life is short, we do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
If you looked into the heart of your enemy what do you think you would fine that is different than in yours?
“Life is to short to ___ “ finish it
Why do you matter?
How many of your friends would you trust with your life
Are you happy with yourself?
What is one fear that you know is holding you back?
What have you done that you’re not proud of?
When did you not speak up, when you should have?
What do you wish you didn’t know?
What have you given up on?
What big lesson could people learn from your life?
What has been seizing your happiness?
What is worse than death?
What is your self conscious guilty about?
Are people born good or evil?
Is it “Innocent until proven guilty” or “Guilty until proven innocent”?
What’s the biggest lie you tell others
Do you believe in heaven and hell?
I’d love at first sight real? Why or why not?
If you had the option to know the date and circumstance, would you?
