It takes as long as it takes.
the worst part about this is the young girls commenting on this video things like "what do you expect 13-15 yos to look like" like....kids.......i'm not saying to put on your dora shirt and put your hair in pigtails i'm saying that a 13 yo wearing a full face of makeup and making thirst traps is not normal
this is what i mean too, when i say there's NOTHING for kids. i was a 90s kid, we had our own aisle, for christ sakes. the 90's were the "age of the cool kid" we had our own shit that adults woudlnt touch if their lives depended on it (which makes people now in their 20's bringing those looks back doubly troubling).
and its capitalism fault! Capitalism got rid of youth culture. capitalism crushed teen/ and new "tween" culture and aimed luxury adult marketing at children. children are the target now for adult clothing trends, expensive makeup, luxury items and even technology because teen and tween culture depended HEAVILY on cheapness. adults didnt want to be caught dead with Izone cameras and clear phones, and whatever else, so the powers that be just got rid of it all to market adult things (makeup and thousand dollar phones ) to EVERYONE. and even now, things that should be marketed to kids, like beaded bracelets and all that Claires looking Jewelry thats come into trend this summer, is ALL sold at luxury prices and sold on heavily made up models.
(now dont get me wrong, there was always "that girl" who was 14 and wanted to look EXACTLY like pam Anderson, or Foxxy Brown, but they were few and far between and it was seen as a problem)
something has to be done.
