Strucker looked at the woman n his bed and raised an eyebrow. “Madame HYDRA… what a pleasant suprise to see you in here.” He slowly moved closer and crawled into bed with her.

He chuckles and climb next to her in bed and pulled her close. “Shall I help you with that?” He could not deny that is was pleasant to have a woman beside him in bed. Viper was one of the most amazing women he ever met.

The serpentine woman grinned wickedly, trailing one perfectly manicured finger down her companion’s chiseled features until her palm rested flat against his chest. 

"I wouldn’t say no to the assistance."

He grinned and leaned up before pinning her down. “Hypnotizing serpent that you are.” Leaning down, he watched her carefully. “HYDRA’s pride.. but most of all.. a true Madame.” His hands sneaked down to unzip her top.

"Flattery will get you everywhere, dear Baron," Viper murmured through a devilish smirk. His firm weight felt pleasant against her, as did the warmth of his hands through the material of her shirt. She leaned upwards, to press a warm kiss to his jaw before falling back against the sheets, verdant hair splayed around her like a halo. She winked, nimble fingers making quick work of his own top, snickering quietly, "You're not so bad yourself."

She hadn’t yet changed, nor showered from her full regalia of leather and kevlar, having fallen into the Baron’s bed thoroughly exhausted from work. “Surely, you weren’t that surprised,” she drawled, verdant irises hidden beneath heavy lidded eyes.

Harry kept his eyes closed. There was little to look at, save his own face in the dented mirror before him that twisted his visage every time he looked into it, and the light was beginning to hurt his eyes. He could feel his right hand twitching and shaking, and did his best to ignore it. It was beyond his control, and besides, it would pass.

When he heard the door to his cell open, his pale blue eyes flickered open. He didn’t turn, but caught the misshapen reflection of the newcomer in his looking glass. A faint smirk played at his lips.

"Weeeeeeell… I don’t tend to get many visitors down here," he drawled. "Certainly not ones of your… caliber. What do you want?"

It was amazing how little heroes cared to know their enemies - if they did, perhaps they'd be more capable of fighting their foe. Viper always made it a point to study her opponents, their weaknesses, their strengths, their family, their friends...and their enemies. And to see one shift between those lines so quickly had caught her attention. 

It wasn't hard to gain access to Harry Osborn's Cell. Here, in the underworld of the city, a murky shadowy place that contrasted starkly with the shining skyscrapers, the title of Madame Hydra held some weight.

"I want many things," the emerald haired terrorist purred, lips stretching into a cold smile. "But today I'm feeling generous. I come with an offer."

Harry had flinched, and instinctively covered his head with his arms as the wall blew out. He coughed, blinking dust out of his eyes, and winced as he felt the thin cuts along his arms. And then suddenly there was a hand at his throat, and a woman was half hauling him out of his seat. Harry’s hands flew out and gripped the rubble-strewn table in front of him, as if clinging to the wooden structure would be enough to make time itself stand still.

Sound came back to the world just in time for Harry to hear the tail end of what the woman had said, and he felt his blood run cold. His eyes flicked nervously to Tony, and the boy pressed his lips together in a thin line, not trusting himself to speak.

This would not have been the first time someone had thought to use him against his father, though every time something like this happened, Harry prayed it would be the last. It was always an uncomfortable situation, because as his father frequently felt the need to remind him, “Osborns do not negotiate.” And yet, somehow, he always found himself safe and sound back at home…

Harry looked over at his father, but only for half a second. He didn’t want to see Norman’s face. If he was about to be shot in the back of the head, he didn’t want to be making eye-contact with his father when it happened. He tried to imagine what it would feel like… what it would look like from a bird’s eye view… It made him nauseous, and Harry had to close his eyes. It was going to hurt, he realized. He was going to die in this room.

Norman would have thought for his past of causing similar explosions and choas that he wouldn’t have been so startled as he was. The explosion rattled his ear drums and he instinctively hit the floor. The smell of smoke and dust filled his nose as he attempted to shake his head clear. His ears were ringing or was that from the alarms that were going off?

 He looked up to see an attractive woman who strutted into the conference room with the ease and confidence of a super model on the run way. Norman was suddenly cursing himself for not having any of his usual explosives with him. After all, he had to maintain /some/ appearance of sanity. 

It was all fine and good, Norman was already going through several options in his head how to deal with this woman (who he found himself half way respecting) when she grabbed Harry. The bottom of Norman’s stomach dropped and he felt himself go rigid. Tony was snarking about something ridiculous as always when Harry’s eyes found his. For all of Norman’s barking about being strong and not being weak and being a man, his son’s eyes in that instance pulled the older man back into the past when Harry was nothing more than a vulnerable collection of puppy like limbs and large eyes. It evoked the strongest feeling of protection and possessiveness. That was /his/ son. Who did this bitch think she was?

 So she had a gun, so what? Norman wasn’t about to sit here and let some literal jaded woman hijack his son. With a snarl, Norman burst from his place on the ground, flinging aside chair and shoving aside the table in a fit of superhuman strength. Presenting his shoulder forward, Norman rushed to take the woman down, linebacker style.

Viper had simply scoffed at the Stark Industries CEO, choosing not to reply to his childish taunt. Her figure was deceptively lean, and with an unusual strength, she bodily hauled the boy to his feet - though if she were completely honest, it helped that he was so slim and light himself. The cool metal of her gun's barrel was pressed flush against the spot where his pale neck met his jaw - a clear, unvoiced threat. 

Before she could start pulling away, the boy's father, the oh so scary Norman Osborn began to move. The verdant haired terrorist was only a little surprised at the inhuman strength he possessed. As soon as she saw the speed with which he was approaching her, Madame Hydra pulled Harry in front of her. The larger man sent all three careening to the floor, and the heavy weight of Norman and his son knocking the breath out of her. 

It took some unnatural stretching of her leg, but Viper was able shift it so that when she pulled her knee up in one sharp movement, it directly hit the older Osborn's groin, causing him to roll over. (Though if his earlier display of strength was any indication, he'd be up and at them again in no time at all). Pressing the gun again to Harry's temple, Madame Hydra stood, hostage in tow - before Mr. Stark could get any clever ideas. 

"One more move, and I'll blow his brains out," she snarled, emerald eyes glinting dangerously beneath similarly shaded locks of hair. "I can pull this trigger faster than any move you choose to make."

It didn’t matter how frequently or how many of these meetings he had been to, they were always dull. Although Tony had a better handle on how to pretend that he wasn’t bored out of his mind, in contrast to it being completely evident that Harry wanted to be anywhere else right now. The inventor sat at his place, hands folded and polite as he could manage; his palms were itching for his phone. Why no one could get to the point in these meetings always astounded him. 

There was a certain degree of show going on in the room that was uneeded, Osborn didn’t have to impress anyone, certainly not Tony. Oscorp needed this and yet Norman continued to stress how well they seemed to be doing on their own, and what they could bring to the table. He suddenly earned a dirty look from Osborn, maybe he could read his mind, maybe Tony didn’t really care because for the moment he wore his expression of absolute disdain on his face for the other man to see plainly. 

When tasked with the question, the engineer answered, shifting his hands slightly. “The terms of the merger? Of course, but I suggest that neither of our names go on the building as I would hate mine to outshine yours.” His tone was calm and remained that way throughout the sentence, as if to say he needed Osborn for little more that the few ideas he sought, the diamonds in the rough. 

Harry had to bite his lower lip hard to suppress a laugh, and quickly focused his attention back down at his pad of paper. When he’d managed to contain himself, he glanced up, looking from one man to the other.

"So, that’s it then?" he asked curiously. If all they had to do was slap a title on the book before they could close it and all go home, then he would gladly toss out as many of them as he could think of. Another question popped into his mind just as quickly, and Harry turned to look at  his father. "Does this mean… I mean… since we’re actually doing this then… I’m confused. What’s going to happen to the staff after the merger? Does this mean we’re taking on Stark’s people, or letting ours go?"

Norman supressed a rather nasty look, instead he gave a scoff of laughter, his eyes gleaming. “You know what they say, Stark. All the glitters isn’t gold,” 

But that was it. Stark agreed to the terms of the merger. Norman fished out a fountain pen and pushed the contract over for Tony to sign when Harry piped up.

"The staff, Harold, will team up, as Mr. Stark and I are doing. We will create a new division. We’re calling "Special Projects". Our best men will work together in that division to create new tech that will further progress both companies," He answered, his voice a little stern. He had told Harry to read the notes on the merger. The young man would be looking over Oscorp soon. Norman was trying to teach him to read contracts and fine print, but the boy would rather be gallivanting all over New York with Stark. It rankled Norman in the worst way, but that could wait until /after/ he got his money.

"Project Cain is ready - we just need the test subject," came the crackly, static filled voice through Viper's ear piece. The emerald haired terrorist was standing among the throngs of reporters waiting outside the conference room doors for two of the most famous businessmen in the country. She checked the time and smirked, taking two steps away from the door. The reporters at the front of the group were about to become collateral damage. Viper turned, chose an app on her phone, and pressed it with her thumb.

The wall blew out.

Suddenly terrified screams and pained moans filled the air, while Madame Hydra simply ran a hand through her hair, trying to dislodge little bits of rubble. She stepped over fallen bodies, and pulled out her gun with its trademark poisoned bullets. Stalking into the now wide open conference room, she took one quick glance at the people inside, who seemed surprised and some rather dazed. 

Her eyes landed on her target and she grinned wide, teeth bright white in contrast to her jade tinted lips.. 

"Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen," Madame Hydra proclaimed casually, as she picked her way over to the youngest member of the room. She grabbed ahold of his collar, and fisted her hand into the thin cloth. "Just here to pick up a package. Let's keep this clean, shall we? Nobody moves, and I won't have to shoot anyone."

green with envy || {Viper & Bruce}

Captain America. Black Widow. The Winter Soldier. Wolverine. Like her, they were all far older than they looked, but unlike her, they had augmented strengths or special powers or mechanical arms, something to increase their abilities beyond human limits. Viper didn't have that- she just managed to survive year after year due to pure strength of will, and perhaps supernatural longevity she didn't know how she had recieved.

In any case, she was quite sure that this lack of special powers put her at a disadvantage when fighting her enemies- those she had listed earlier made up a significant portion of her opponents, actually. And as talented a biochemist she was, she could not think of a permanent solution for her problem.

Except for perhaps one crazy idea, one HYDRA had abandoned long ago.

HYDRA had always had an interest in the super soldier serum, had attempted to recreate on some occasions and failed. Viper knew that in their archives, she could find what notes there were, and she had perused them once, but was aware that those methods were simply an example of what not to do. In fact, with a simple search on the Internet, with much less hassle than she was expecting and only a little bit of hacking, she discovered a certain Doctor Banner who had attempted to recreate the serum as well, and came closest since the original substance.

Yes, he had the nasty side effect of a super powerful unpredictable being with anger issues...but Madame Hydra was confident she could alter his notes as necessary to create the perfect serum. And so she ended up dsiguising herself and breaking into Stark Tower- this was a private matter she would not let her lackeys handle- removing her blonde wig and sunglasses when she reached the empty lab. If the lab turned out to be a bust, she suppose she'd have to break into top secret government facilities, but Viper hoped she'd find what she needed here.

While the scientist within her, the one she pretended didn't exist, was extremely curious about all the ongoing experiments, Madame Hydra headed straight towards the computers in the back. She inserted a USB with a program she had a bright if greedy talented college student write to search for any possible files to do with the serum.

Now, all she had to do was wait for the program to complete its search, and she'd be on her way.
