The kiss took Mason entirely by surprise, not just because it cut him off mid-word, but after a moment, he laughed against Norman’s lips and relaxed into him, lightly clutching at his shirt as the booze made everything warm and fuzzy.

Mason’s response was encouraging. Norman deepened the kiss, a chuckle in his own throat. This was a nice distraction.
