oh! i forgot to say, but i plan on opening this blog to more verses just because i love the thought of throwing my characters in different worlds and situations and see how they react.

i’m waiting on a few things before i even attempt to redo my theme, but it’s definitely in the works. the most i need, is the ability to add more pages or make a navigation page - which will go up once i finish my theme. since i can’t really add a verses page for now, i plan on making a small post here just so people are in the know.

i’m primarily b/w2 because that’s what i’m comfortable with, but i will open up b/w cheren as well, but only upon request if it’s needed for things to flesh out dynamics and such, or for flashback threads.

because i also have friends in this community, i’ll be making a danganronpa verse as well. a tag for those threads are incoming, but the verse for cheren has been thought about and i’ll be interacting with it. i’ll make another post at some point about it more in depth so people can interact with it if they’d like to.

i’ve also thought about persona, but that needs to be cooked up a little more.

i’ll definitely be willing to throw cheren in other universes too, so long as i know the property that it comes from! feel free to reach out to me too if you have any questions, i just wanna have a good time and open my door for more people!

For whatever reason, this ‘Cheren’ character was trying his best to seem extremely ‘cool’. His posture seemed stiff, awkward, which is how he knew that it all was an act. He was probably one of his fans after all. Honestly, Green wasn’t sure what the deal was exactly, but he wasn’t going to comment on it. He could be fairly blunt at times, however, and if it was something stupid, he would more than likely point it out. No reason to be so formal. He was just Green Oak. Just a gym leader. Not like he was the champion anymore… or that he really was for long at all.

“Yeah. I‘m sure I won’t be,”

“I’ll definitely let ya know if I’m ever in the area. It would be interesting to find out what the kids are learning these days.”

[ it feels so childish to admit to himself that he’s a little excited, even maybe a bit nervous to be able to showcase something he feels so proud of. it has to be because this guy was someone he respected, right?

he decides not to navigate these thoughts for now. he couldn’t possibly, not when he’s not sure where his thought process will lead him. ]

he knows cheren struggles in situations like these, not knowing how to comfort, not knowing how to maneuver through the emotional talks that would take place. if he had thought there was anyone else he could lean on in this moment, he would have gone to them, but cheren was the one person he could think of that might be available at the moment.

he is a little surprised to hear that someone like cheren dealt with such a feeling. he kept it hidden very well. but it was just another thing that made cheren human, and it gave him hope that if he could deal with it well, he could, too.

“o-oh… that would be nice,” he starts softly, “and… n-no… i haven’t eaten much. i just didn’t feel hungry at all. i think it should be fine though. still. sorry to worry you, cher.”

even if you don’t feel hungry, you should still eat a little so you don’t get sick.

[ he feels like his mother when he says that, but he forces himself not to think about that much for now. instead he goes into the kitchen, and looks into the fridge to see what awaits him.

he clicks his tongue, turning his head to touya. curse the fact that he doesn’t cook very often on his own. ] sorry, i think it’s been a while since i’ve last been to the store. are eggs okay? [ it’s simple, and something that he thinks touya should be able to eat. ] if if that’s fine, how do you like them?

There was rare expressions most saw Cress with and this would be one of them with how he liked to gush over his simian pokemon in an endearing way. Excitedly showing him a drawing it made, jumping up into his lap as Cress was seated on the sofa with Cheren talking before becoming distracted. Letting his hands come squish the pokemon's cheeks as his nose came to nuzzle into his, 'Cuuuute~ So talented you are, Panpour~' He hummed happily with the simian chattering in glee to reciprocating the action of noses. A soft scratch given under the pokemon chin before he directed his attention back to Cheren, "I'm sorry, what was it you were saying?'

[ it’s not often that he allows his guard to be let down like this, hm? it’s a scene that he feels is saved for his family (wherever they are), while his normal expression is something more cool, something more collected for fans ready to offer up their hearts at a moment’s chance.

there’s a softness in cheren’s eyes once cress looks back, and he shakes his head as if to dismiss his question. ]

should cheren ask for specifics, touya would claim that little was wrong. because that was what he believed. he couldn’t think of any major contributor for what he was feeling. he wished he could pinpoint an issue and let cheren help, but it just wasn’t that simple. he had just been feeling down. troubled. so much anxiety and sadness weighed down on him at once, and he felt as if he would break.

“um, nothing’s actually wrong, not really,” he bites the inside of his cheek as he tries to think of a way to explain the feeling. “but it’s like… something is weighing down on me, cher… and i can barely stay above water…”

“i’m not sure … what that ‘something’ is, but… have you ever had that feeling? i’m not really sure what to do with this. i thought it might be better for me… to be with a friend.”

[ there’s a weight on his shoulders, clearly. there’s something eating away at his soul, and cheren’s not sure if he could ward the little demons away. matters of the heart were never his strong suit; such efforts were something he felt were bianca’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean that he’s useless. he doesn’t want to push him away, so he’ll have to figure out his own way to help. ]
