What if there is a  kind of table linen keeping mug stains as your mnemonic of those precious company that makes you not feeling lonely when you have to cook and have it on your own? Â
Fumble with a lull..
What if there could have an actual real-time passenger information display service synced to the train station that used to be displayed on dashboards?
What if there is a better way showing passenger information with a timer that gives us more convenience of managing our time?
Here is a suggestion for solving out the friction that people use to stare at the dashboard looking for the train and waiting for the platform number for a long time and rush to the platform in the end.
Second year.
My bald head... What do you think?
This project is focused on the awareness of air pollution around the area of the Somerset House. We started from ideas of sponge carpet based on air-pure filter covered on the Waterloo bridge that could encourage people to walk rather than to drive. Therefore, commuters became to be the main audiences we want to communicate. In another hand, we also think about plants furniture, interior and architecture design or products to raise caution of severe air pollution in London and also change people behavior in a poetic way. The things already exist but we could do in another way to improve and solve the pollution problem is more interesting to us. There are also some roof spaces surrounding the Somerset House that we are more aware of where the people work underneath the ground floor that might have less concern about the environment and air outside. However, we went for using plants to communicate the caution of air pollution to people who work in or wander around in the courtyard of Somerset House. Thus, we found out the air-purifying plants and combine with the idea of the 6 scales of air pollution in boroughs of London displaying in geographical layers. This air-purifying plants sculpture in the courtyard not only can efficiently clean the air but also catch peopleâs attention concerning more about the issue of air pollution in London. This is a map using gradient colors as the proportion of the population who speak specified languages as their main language at home, by the local authority, region and country to show the colorful London. It is also designed to be read under the light that you can see the shadow of boroughs. The map is made for anyone who interested in different information about the London.Â
Procrastination What if every single one of the things we put off comes with a receipt for us? Then we could say more loudly,âTime is money.â The items on the receipts are the things we usually put off and the excuses we often use.Every time we postpone, we buy the delayed as well. How many âlateâ receipts you have got? I might drown myself in it...
SEAGULL CALL Seagull Call is a music festival held in Margate. All the shapes on posters are inspired by the seagull sounds recorded in Margate. All the colors used in propaganda are also inspired by the seaside buildings and scenery including sand, seaweed, wave and sky in Margate showing how enthusiasm and dynamic it is.
FOOD COMMONPLACE BOOK This is a book with many posters saying about a different way of food with strong visual design including holiday food, chefâs story, food theory, the flavor of ingredients and food poisoning.

3D Ciphertext 3D Ciphertext is a new cyphertext using six different angles, as we view a cube with six sides. The six numbersâ parts are chosen by the user in a 3D mode, which works between encryption and decryption. It could be saved as a photo in the userâs phone and also be decrypted by the 3S Ciphertext reader app which is free download by the user in order to avoid setting new code repeatedly if the user forgets the original one. The code could be any code up to a maximum of six, such as passcodes online, PIN number on a card, a combination of a  safe and so on, that are randomly chosen by the user. The user also needs to choose the angle of the cube that decides the angle of view of the numbers.
To users; you only need to set up the password and the angle of view once and press the button to make 3D ciphertext. The 3D ciphertext picture will be sent to your email automatically. Then you can keep it and use 3D Ciphertext reader app to decrypt it once you forget the password.
TIME We used to be afraid of getting old as we try to slow down the time of aging. With this concept, we used crumpled papers to photoshop under the younger skin around 20-25 years old to make the texture from papers seem like wrinkles. The pre-aging skin expresses how wrinkles describe the passage of time and a metaphor of aging. In addition, it shows how we try to against aging and the fear we have. /Group: Cher Fang, Tess Tang, Archie Lin
Fitting room is the idea for my 1st year portfolio presentation expressing the procedure of the portfolio of the year. It includes  the flexible of me who started to live in another country with different language and culture and how the last idea worked out from tons of research and first ideas that is similar with how a fitting room works out the final clothes we want to buy. The label of the research books acting as clothes could be my own branding such as CV. And that is it, my CV!
FURRY DICE-POTTED HISTORY The idea for this zine came from the history of the furry dice. In WWII the pilots would hang dice in the cockpit of the plane as a god luck charm and as a symbol that every time they flew they were taking a gamble, metaphorically ârolling the diceâ with their chances. To present this we created the outline of a cockpit and then chose a poem written by a pilot in WWII as the main source of the type. We then adapted the poem so that it related directly to our subject of furry dice. Poem written by John Gillespie Magee Jr âHigh Flightâ
