❤😍❤ gah I just love these shorts. Once upon a time they were pants I got from Wal-Mart and they pissed me off. They were too long and tight. And even though they fit my butt and waste, my thighs suffocated. Within two weeks of buying them the inner seam rips. Where?! Well if you guessed thighs you would be right. I almost threw them away but instead repurposed them into my short shorts. These shorts are a metaphor for my day, life whatever. I took the good (fitting my waste and ass) and left the bad. I try to do the same in life. My day started awful but I'm trying to repurpose what I like and leave the bad behind. My older kids started riding lessons this week. They were terrified. The 4 year old however was super jealous. They are each so different and I love seeing the ways each of them face new experiences. There isn't one right way there are many. Hope this all turns out good but for now I'll just wait and see how they do. #momlife #horsebackriding #ilovemykids

Some days you look professional and you socialize, other days you wear a onesie and avoid eye contact. I wouldn't say it's balance just whether or not I got sleep the night before. Currently I have 4 year old who makes each night a gamble. It's funny to look back longingly to when she was a newborn and I actually got some sleep now and again. #momlife #ootd #sundayfunday

I never used to wear dresses for whatever reason. I just never felt very comfortable in them unless I was at church. Now I'm positive I love dresses. I don't know how I never realized how comfortable they are but it's all I want to wear lately. Just over here looking at pictures from the ward pool party. I will readily admit that on days like today I am mad I had to move back to Arizona. I try and stay positive and thankful but yes I am still homesick for my #idahome. Making myself a little shakeology while the kids do yoga. I seriously love this YouTube program. If you haven't checked it out it is amazing and it's called cosmic kids yoga. I think it has been a big part of the great success Mike has been having this year with homeschooling. The kids love it and they all are more attentive and calm after they have done it. Maybe my parents should have made me do some yoga when I was little. #homeschooling #momlife #yogatime

Sheje my husband makes my shakes there is always more in it. Also it usually tastes better. I won't sit here and pretend everything is as perfect as this morning's breakfast shake but it's pretty dang close. Another bit of kid science. We are continuing to learn about electricity, batteries and circuits. We want to create a love for learning in our house and in our kids for their whole life. Giving them tools and making them do hands on work is one of the ways we find works best. When they get to really see the principles in action it sticks longer.
