Which of the wizards powers would you rather have? Which would be best vs worst do you think?
Gonna be very normal about this!! In order of worst to best accidentally:
I think I wouldn't want Ogron's for the simple reason that, assuming nobody else has powers for a sec, there would be nothing to copy. And where do you go from there. I mean, I know it's not all he does, but I do think other people's energies played a part in him getting as strong as he is. So if there aren't any energies around? What then?? Don't recommend it as of right now.
Second, I wouldn't want Anagan's either because I have hip problems!! I cannot run, my doctor has told me to never get into running as a sport/exercise. Or like advised, whatever- Milk lore. So recommended if you're like. Into exercise and stuff. But not me, no.
I wouldn't mind Gantlos' powers. I don't think. But I'm warning y'all, I clap several times throughout the day. I stretch? Clap. I'm watching something? Clap. Trying to fall asleep? Clap. Yeah, it probably takes more than just a clap to activate it, but still. Certainly not for everyone either, I don't know a single person I would trust with this tbh. Or a single person who would trust me. The ability would be fun to have, but for the sake of the general population? Maybe not.
I say like I'm not about to confirm the obvious.
I would like Duman's powers ty, this surprises nobody. Zero attachment to my current form, I already have issues with like smells and sounds, and you can sit there and go "They would probably be even worse" um be quiet. I could take it, I'm built different, I've been training for this. I wouldn't bother anyone or do any crimes <3 You couldn't prove it if I did, but I'm telling you rn I wouldn't <3 I simply think his powers would solve all the problems I currently have. Like generally speaking. Not everyone should have this, definitely not- But I should. As a treat.
Why tf does my mans have a dragon <3 I sure hope that's just him copying abilities <3 And not him having a random evil dragon <3
Shoutout to @1was2bored for reminding me the copy thing was a possibility because I'm gonna be so honest, I forgot??
TO BE FAIR him and Bloom are doing the same hand thing AND also Ogronās dragon has got lightning on it and he has lightning magic that popped up in ep 13 but never spoken of again

You know you made it as an sjm anti when that one rabid acotar stan spawns under your post, harasses you then has a delusion that theyāre the victim
Welcome to the club! My favorite thing is that they have like zero interaction on anything they've posted. No notes. Like you claim y'all are laughing at us... who's laughing with you? Who is the y'all in this? Those anons you sent yourself that read exactly like you and use the exact same vocabulary?
It's very cute.
Not quite in the club yet. They havenāt materialized under any of my anti sjm posts (for better or for worse). Itās fine, just gives me something to work towards as an sjm anti š¤

Actually I changed my mind. One time the knights of the round table get smashed fucking drunk because real medieval lads know how to parteeey, and ofc the discussion eventually turns to "so who would u smash" because they're the thots of the round table for a reason, and after a while of lancelot and tristan talking about the joys of cuckholdery the lads turn to Bedivere to ask who he'd like to get it on with in Chaldea. They expect Bedivere to dodge the question or maybe give a very vanilla answer, but Bedivere, being drunk off his ass for the first time in like a century, immediately and wholeheartedly replies "Xiang Yu."
When faced with consternation he explains that he's three hundred years old my guys even if he wasn't really on the market during that time he did have a few adventures here and there he's seen most of what sex has to offer he's kinda over it, if you want him to be interested you have to offer him something he's truly never experienced before, and giant mecha centaur certainly qualifies. After thirty minutes of graphic prose on how Bedivere may not be a dragonslayer but he's certainly a dragonlayer Mordred finally reaches their cringe threshold and heads out to get Yu Meiren, figuring that she'll put an end to this one way or another, probably violently, which is great, Mordred loves violence.
Unfortunately, Yu Meiren happens to kinda like Bedivere, and wanting to fuck Xiang Yu is a #1 symbol of Having Good Tastes in her opinion so while it does put an end to Bedivere Oversharing Hour she does it by dragging him into her & Xiang Yu's bedroom and the ensuing wrestling is a private affair.
This is the one and only time peepaw and Yu Meiren got it on. Neither party is interested in a do-over but they had a nice time it was fun.

There are a few unfortunate book series in which the protag goes from interesting, flawed, reasonable character to power-mad villain material with no apparent awareness from the author. But Feyre is definitely one of the more depressing examples. Was it that she was used as the main vehicle for retconning other characters' personalities in the sequels? Was it that SJM decided that the narrative HAD to support Feyre's every move, that nothing she did could be judged as wrong within the book? Did Feyre end up being a weird fanfic power fantasy self insert? It's all bad. But I miss her, too. Book one Feyre? I loved her so much. Would have adopted her in a heartbeat.
Yep, I agree with a lot of this. She changes, and for the worse, when she meets Rhysand. Suddenly she's on the "high fae are superior and actually humans are bigoted for hating the people who enslave, rape, and murder them" train. Which is... yikes. And she pulls the "must brutalize the token Black man in this story." And steals from him. And then she does ACTUAL FREAKING BLACKFACE. And she runs around mind raping sentries and toppling governments and unleashing her magic not caring who else is hit in the process (Lady Vanserra) and then she locks Nesta up and. Ugh. It's bad.
But at the same time... she's both a fictional character, so I can blame the racist out of universe writing (like the BLACKFACE) on Sarah J Maas, not Feyre, and for her crimes that are viewed as bad in universe (like. The mindrape. That) that's due to manipulation by Rhysand. She's 22. 22. Rhysand is... what? 538?
She's a victim of his manipulation, of him exerting his power and influence to make his wife isolated from everyone but him, to ensure that everyone she's close to is everyone he's close to, so that he can always control what she thinks, what she does, what she knows. And I know this sounds paranoid, but this is proven PAINFULLY true in ACOSF, when he instructs everyone to hide the truth about HER HEALTH from her. ACOSF makes it abundantly clear that Rhysand has succeeded. She's isolated. Alone--alone from everyone but Rhysand, that is.
And you can even see this in ACOWAR! Anytime she feels remotely guilty about doing anything, Rhysand is like "you were perfect and amazing" and it's a trap. It's a trap so no one likes her or trusts her and so she has no allies outside of him and his. It's a trap so everything she knows is filtered through Rhysand, so he can control what she knows and does as he sees fit. And it infuriates me.
And that's why I can't be as critical of her as I can of other characters. Book 1 Feyre--every Feyre--deserved so much better. It doesn't excuse her atrocities, but... its why I try to avoid too much Feyre criticism on this page, because a lot of people forget exactly what she is: a victim of Rhysand's emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. And now she thinks it's ok to act like him, to be like him, because he's groomed her so well that she doesn't know any better.
Hey, I might just be slow here. But can you remind me about the blackface incident??
You know it really says something about sjmās rabid fans when they think calling a character ātamponā is some life-ending insult
