currently working on learning Norwegian every day this summer. it’s hard to be consistent when I have bad days, but I’m trying my best. still waiting for my application results.

Freaking out because I just got accepted to present at a conference but A) i hate public speaking, B) the conference will be during my placement, C) the conference is in another state and so i have to worry about funding my travel and accommodation, and D) i have not even finished the data analysis for the project i'll be presenting let alone the thesis or visual presentation and i only have two months.

i've largely had a productive week! some days i randomly get really exhausted and have to nap for hours to recover, though. i also feel a bit lost in my group meetings, like i am not making as much progress as people in my research group. i have a year but i hope i submit a really strong phd proposal. i'm struggling to find grounding with my pet project at the moment.

19.05.26 💐 officially done with half of my master's thesis! this week i'm taking a break from everything. things are moving very quickly right now, i will be done with my thesis sooner than expected, i've handed in my first job application and summer is coming. i'm still feeling fairly calm about it all but i really need this break to catch my breath! ♡♡♡

Early this morning I started researching ideas for my psychology thesis. It was rainy and there was no sugar for my coffee, but I’m happy to have started! I now feel closer to finding my thesis topic ♡
