Ignore his stupid hair. His face is the main character. This was another practice (meaning I traced his face and used the color picker) but I took around 4 hours on it I think??

that one summer in ‘59/‘60 where todd and neil were free. ate fruit out in the sun, carved their initials into a random tree, went to fun fairs along the coast - anything to take their mind off their upcoming future and being divided

todd coming back to the same tree every year in the summer because this is the closest he feels to neil, and even though he may not remember exactly what neil sounded like or what it felt like to be free, their initials would be proof that they were happy once
