Looking back at my old headcanons there was one that was basically This;

if a teensy were to have black pupils and white scleras, then it means that the teensy's eyes are infected with a slow and painful infection wich It's side-effects can be little at first, But if it progresses, puss will begin leaking out of the eyes and a horrid stench of death will eminate from them too.
