In October 2018, Roman Reigns shocked his Shield brothers and the world by announcing that his leukaemia had returned and that he had to relinquish the Universal Title and leave to fight the disease. Later that same night, Dean Ambrose did something even more shocking and turned on Seth Rollins after they won the tag team titles together, destroying The Shield once again in an emotional, explosive fashion. This is the aftermath that could've been. Or: The story of Seth trying to save Dean from himself. Only they save each other instead (when they're not destroying each other).
