It is often compared to Harajuku, but it has a more laid back and calmer feel (and not much crowded too!) (｡･ω･｡) Ashley recommends 10 things you should do when you’re in Shimokitazawa: 1. Cafe Hammock Tribe - A hammock cafe inspired by the beach. They serve Thai / Asian cuisines. The best cafe I’ve ever been to. Definitely a must-visit hangout place in Shimokitazawa. 2. Darwin Room - Where you can find a real otter, zebra, butterflies among many other animals preserved. They also have a small cafe area where you can dine. The store’s atmosphere is just magical! 3. Flamingo - You can find authentic vintage clothes from the 40’s to the 80’s. 4. ２丁目３番地 (Nichome Sanbachi) - A toy store that sells used items from the 90’s or even older. I found Sailor Moon, Star Wars, Hello Kitty toys and more! They’re usually 50% OFF on weekends.  5. Cateriam cat Cafe 6. Rabbit cafe 7. Rainbow cafe  8. Sunday flea market 9. Buy cute plushies 10. The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo will always be one of our favorite dream destinations in Japan. (✿◠‿◠)  Here are 10 things you might want to know about the magical place: 1. Studio Ghibli director Hayao Miyazaki designed the museum himself. ヽ(^。^)丿 2. Photography and video recording are not allowed inside the Museum, for maximum visual experience. 3. Aside from the Museum, there are many other Studio-Ghibli-related features in the area that one can explore: a cafe (Straw Hat Cafe), a rooftop garden, and a whimsical souvenir shop called Mamma Aiuto, based from Porco Rosso. 4. The Cat Bus room, a room with a huge catbus, is an area where only children (below 12) are allowed to play. 5. The Saturn Theater is a place where visitors can enjoy a short film showing.  6. According to a statement by Hayao Miyazaki-san, he didn’t want to make a museum that “treats its contents as if they were more important than people”, hence the Ghibli Museum was made for the people to enjoy, understand, ponder, and feel.  7. Entrance to the Ghibli Museum is strictly by advance purchase of a reserved ticket. 8. The Museum is almost always closed on Tuesdays, except for special days and occasions. 9. The Museum is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. 10. The Ghibli Museum is accessible through a community loop bus from Mitaka Station. Mitaka Station is serviced by the Chūō Line. Shibuya is one of the most famous and busiest shopping and entertainment centers in Tokyo. ヽ(^。^)丿There are just so many things you could do that you might get overwhelmed! ＞▽＜ So we listed 10 activities we could recommend you to do when you’re in Shibuya: 1. Take a photo at the Shibuya Crossing - Shibuya Crossing is the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. It’s one of the most amazing spots to take photos in Japan! 2. Visit Hachiko’s famous statue  - It is said that as long as you can pinpoint the location of the statue, you’ll never get lost in Shibuya  3. Shop at Shibuya 109 - HUGE shopping center! 4. Shop from LoFT / Tokyu Hands - These are shopping centers for cute and quirky products, stationery, craft materials for DIYs, accessories, and souvenirs. 5. Dress up cutely (like a Japanese schoolgirl heheh) and take purikura! >3< 6. Test your crane skills and win a cute toy/plushie from the UFO catchers or crane machines in arcade buildings!  7. Visit One Piece Mugiwara Store at Shibuya Parco 8. Visit and shop at the Disney store (a wonderful building that looks like a castle from outside) 9. Love the nightlife, art exhibits, and amazing architecture? Come to Roppongi in Minato, Tokyo! (｡´∀｀)ﾉ Japan Lover Me contributor Ashley (http://candykawaiilover.blogspot.jp/) listed 10 activities you can do while visiting Roppongi!  (Thanks, Ashley!) We made an infographic based on her list~ 10 things to do when in Roppongi (as written by Ashley Dy): "1. Drop by at Mori Art Museum at Roppongi Hills. They’re currently hosting Andy Warhol exhibit and café which I haven’t visited. The last time I went there was when they had Peanuts (Snoopy) exhibit! It was so, so amazing! We weren’t allowed to take photos for most part of the exhibit though. Enjoy!  2. Enjoy National Art Center. It’s proclaimed as Japan’s largest museum.  3. To complete the triumvirate, go to Suntory Museum of Art at Tokyo Midtown as well. 4. Visit Tokyo Tower. By this time everyone must be “I’ll go to Tokyo Skytree instead.” But, no. I’ll give you three reasons why you should still visit Tokyo Tower. It’s cheaper! For only ¥800, you can climb up. Less lines. You don’t have to wait all day just to reach the peak of this tower. Last, Tokyo Tower has this “moon river” romantic vibe maybe because it’ less crowded and more private compared to Skytree. 5. Roponggi is famous for it’s night life, so don’t miss out and try karaoke!  6. Eat! It could be really expensive to dine in Japan especially in this area. Try Pink Cow (they serve Mexican goodness), Baker Bounce (my number one go-to place), Ritz-Carlton café (for afternoon tea), Cinnabon (yes they have it here) and Rigoletto (for drinking with friends). 7. Adore their architecture! One of the best I’ve seen! 8. Attend events. The previous Maybelline JP kick-off party for MBFWT was hosted in Midtown! It was so much fun! 9. View Tokyo Tower from afar especially at night! 10. It’s port is also one of the biggest and busiest ports in the country!  These are some of the things you can do in Nagoya: 1. Visit Nagoya Castle (Take a tour in and around the castle~) 2. Go to Midland Square (There’s an observation deck, a shopping mall, and cinemas) 3. Have fun at the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium 4. Eat Nagoya’s famous hitsumabushi (eel) and miso katsu! 5. Visit Nagoya City Science Museum (houses the largest planetariums in the world!) 6. Take pictures with Nagoya TV Tower (famous for being seen in Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964)) 7.
