Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.
Lighting makes a difference.
Take a look at these two images. What is the difference between them? Yes, one shows a lot more of the backdrop (and my messy dining room table). The second is a pull back shot to show my lighting set-up for my Impact VSD300
I created a backlight for the goblet by bouncing the light off of my Omega reflector (seriously, this is an awesome reflector) I put my D610 on a tripod, set up the shot and focused the camera. Then using a timed release, I quickly walked to the table and started pouring the water right before I knew that the camera was going to go off. Isn’t light fun?! *All equipment mentioned can be purchased from http://www.bhphotovideo.com/
