Sorry about my radio silence, not just here but my main and all. I had hoped that 2020 would start Positive, but so far, things have been the opposite. 

We were in the process of moving on Saturday the 4th when my mom had an accident. She passed out for a moment and hit the back of her head. She was rushed to the hospital and had to get staples on the back of her head. She’s doing fine now, but one of her doctors say that her getting no results after that was suspicious. I want to believe she’s fine, but we’ll see how things turn out in her next appointment. I have been making sure to keep an eye on her during the unpacking process. My cousin and his gf helped us out with arranging/moving the heavier furniture/boxes/etc. We’re 90% unpacked now, there’s a few boxes here and there, I still need to unpack some of my things [tho most of those things go on my desk/tv stand/on the wall].

To add to this, we had to give up all 5 of our cats. This is what is still hurting me the most right now. My mom and I had hoped to keep at least one, we were thinking of keeping Mini since we only had her for about 2-3 months. After my mom’s accident, we realized it would be difficult to go through the process needed to keep one cat while also paying for my mom’s hospital bill [her insurance covered the majority of everything, tho]. For two days, I was given the run around. I had wanted to leave our cats at a shelter knowing that they’ll be safe, but every shelter I went to wouldn’t take them-not within their city limits, not outside city limits, etc etc. In the end, I took the advice one of them gave and I went to the police. They helped me contact animal control. I’m grateful that animal control didn’t charge me to take the cats, but I hate how all this went. My mom didn’t even get a chance to see her cat one last time. The apartment is very quiet and empty without them, we’re so used to having cats. I keep seeing them everywhere, I hate it.

So, right now, I’m not in the best of places. I’ve been trying so hard to keep myself from going into a bad depressive episode, but it’s been extremely difficult. I hate how I had to give up my cats, I hate that my mom had her accident because of some asshole rushing us.

Horns are tough since they’re complex 3D shapes that often overlap. Until you’re comfortable with them I’d highly suggest always looking up ref pics of the type you want or try to buy a set so you can move them around to see how perspective distorts them.
