She hadn’t realized that someone had broken into the apartment as she closed the messaging app, having said goodbye to Yoosung. She didn’t hear the faint click as she moved from the office space. She didn’t think the cameras had been disabled just as her attacker makes his intentions clear and solid: she wasn’t going to be taken in one piece.
Jae (MC) is awaiting for Zen to take her from the apartment, however Unknown beats him to the apartment much earlier, resulting in Unknown attacking her via an explosive boobytrap, hurting her fatally and leaving her wounded, scarred, and bleeding out. Zen comes to her rescue in time before Unknown takes her to Mint Eye, setting off a dark and twisted set of events leading everyone into the heart of Mint Eye to keep their own alive and out of the hands of this dark and deadly organization hellbent on ripping them apart from the inside-out.
This is a much darker and twisted continuation of Zen’s route, starting with altering the events of Unknown’s break in on Day 10. It also changes some of the earlier events, such as the reveal of the bomb. It will be set up that this new darker route will have ‘Bad Ends’, meaning oneshots written for the points in which a Bad End could occur. However, the Bad Ends will not happen until the end of the Kidnapping Arc, which the fanfiction is currently still in.
