Vivi gets everything he craves: freedom from his duty and title, an eternal life in Norvrandt, Exarch. Ability to keep his newfound love safe. His magic heavily leans towards defensive, stasis neutralizing anything thatâs not darkness-aspected.
Exarch gets his wish fulfilled, too. That mysterious person from the tales, recently fallen for him head over heels, now is his and only his.
The tiny Lightwardenâs docile and clingy. He retains his self, can communicate, but the spark of lifeâs gone from him and his words. His appetiteâs minimal (or does he hold it back?), Exarchâs able to keep him sated by drawing on the Towerâs aether. They prefer not to speak of the far-off, but inevitable day the Towerâs reservoirs become exhausted.
Since the new ruler of the star resides in the Crystarium, people are fleeing from there, leaving him alone with Exarch. No other eaters around, Frivolus isnât fond of their company not only on his own, but because he protects his lover. Feo Ul would occasionally visit and try to play, but leave disappointed because âheâs become boringâ.
Decades stretch on, the human population of Norvrandt keeps dwindling, hounded by the eaters that Frivolus doesnât bother to control. Crystarium falls into disarray and becomes overgrown with the Il Mheg flowers.
At some point Exarchâs the only human left alive, the sole thread that keeps the two worlds from Rejoining.

Vivi already shares a lot of traits with the pixies. Iâve made several other concepts, the tiny version just felt right, especially considering his self-image. Plus, everyoneâs Lightwardens seem to be enormous, I saw a niche for myself in the opposite corner :>
Headwings and hair that magically flows on its own because heâs an airhead. His eyes are âreversedâ from normal: black iris, white pupil.
