Sooo...
Review - fresh off watching season 3
The last time I was this disappointed was after watching the final season of Sherlockā¦
It's an hour and a half substitute for a full season. Rushed, empty, devoid of emotion, humor, and even extras in scenes.
Characters who appear only to disappear.
Jesus's potential is completely wasted - why did they even include him? He was probably just there to remind me of the actor who played Luffy in One Piece⦠Even the Antichrist had better luck and airtime.
Satan? Where did he even come from?
The entire costume budget was spent on two sets of costumes - Aziraphale in Hell and Crowley in Heaven (Mr. and Mr. Frankenstein) and the two "Legolases" from the beginning, who appeared in such a dark scene that they blended into the backgroundā¦
The relationship - both physical and emotional - weak. While I don't have a problem with the lack of physical connection (I always felt chemistry between them even when they weren't touching), the emotional blandness was disappointing.
It's great that they ended up together, but I was never a fan of making them human ā it's a story about an angel who isn't entirely angelic and a demon who isn't entirely evilā¦
The actors tried to nail it down to the very end, but it's clear they, too, were distracted by the whole situation. Thanks for everything!
I envy the fans who enjoyed the "finale."
Thank you to all the fanfiction/art/comic authors who have already created a better ending to this story, and to those who will do so in the future.
